FWIW several parts of Tennessee got really hammered in this last winter storm. Unfortunately lack of preparation and adequate resources to throw at the problem have plagued Memphis for years. There were several days of level 3 emergency bulletins urging people to stay off the roads if at all possible locally.
My daughter lives in Nashville and due to the ice storm that came through there her power has been off since last Sunday (day 6 today). Not sure when it will be resumed.
I’m glad this was resolved and the package is en route to its destination.
On the bright side, This thread is a reminder of the upcoming Milan Olympics. Need to see what I can do to make arrangements for SWMBO to be able to see at least some of the ice skating events since we don’t have OTA or cable access at this time.
@kykazaa
Thanks for the offer. I dug one out of a closet. Think it used to belong to Mom who lived next door but can’t remember if we ever actually got it to pick up anything. Probably about 35-50 miles as the crow flies from the closest towers.
That’s a project for the next few days hopefully.
Oh… And to answer the question… Central AL.
@chienfou good luck with it. The one I got is an Amazon deal that seems to do pretty well in West Chester OH. I bought an extra and it’s just lying around.
@kykazaa
Thanks. Since all the signals are digital now it’s a go/no go. Unlike the old days where you sometimes could pull in a picture but it was like looking at it through a snowstorm. Hopefully I’ll be able to tag the local NBC station so my wife can watch some of the ice skating and so forth. I may end up having to just suck it up and sign up for Peacock for a month. We’ll see…
Not surprised at the dislocation of the shipment, but flabbergasted that somehow there were real breathing humans at FedE->x that could be contacted.

@chienfou It looks like Peacock will be your best bet for streaming.
@therealjrn
thanks. That’s what I had found as well. May try to use an OTA setup since I think I have one somewhere.
@chienfou where do you live, I have an extra one if you want it (hdmi antenna that is)
