Favorite Fuku wins (or losses)?
0Over the last year, people have had some pretty crazy shit show up at their doorsteps: Giant gumball machines, goat supplies, pocket change in a giant box of filler, broken stuff of all kinds...
What have been your favorite "other box" reveals? Is there anything you guys at Meh have especially enjoyed sending out?

In my own fukus, my favorites have been the working vacuum and the replica samurai sword thingy.
I also really like my broken flask shirt, which was part of the prize I got for one of the photoshop contests.
For losses, my gf got a 32"+ tv she was super excited about until discovering it was broken. It sat around her already-cramped apartment for months, because she wanted to find out the "right" way to dispose of it, instead of chucking it in the dumpster like I would have.
@darksaber99999 Darksaber... black sword... I see what they did there.
@Starblind Shoulda named myself "Darkwaverunner" or something.
I don't know that any of my fukus had anything remarkable, but were generally useful (i.e. flash drive, utensil set, etc). Maybe this time?
This was by far my favorite fuku to send, thanks for being a great sport about it @editorkid! https://meh.com/forum/topics/official-fukubukuro-kickstarter-second-shipment-thread#53f00703209831b40be45fb5
@MEHcus Yeah, but didn't the dude get an xbox one that he didn't even keep? That still eats me up. :)
@MEHcus That was a good one! What did it take, though, like a month to go through the box, @editorkid?
i got a quadracopter in fuku #3. the dog and the kid absolutely loved it. until i broke it. it can be fixed, but i just don't have the time right now.
I got a safe. I keep gummy bears in it to slow me down from eating too many.
Most favorite thing out of my Fukus: Probably a little figurine from Aliens, though I've enjoyed all my Fukus because there is always such variety. It's also a lot of fun seeing what everyone else gets. The gumball machines were awesome to see!
Least favorite: Had just got back into town after flying back to my hometown to attend my uncles funeral. Opened my fuku and saw a Beats box. Cheered me up a bit because my headphones had just broken. Opened box and realized the box was empty. Under normal circumstances it would have been pretty funny, but I was already in a downer mood and hated Meh for the rest of the day...or week...or hm... maybe I still haven't forgiven them yet. Bitter women can hold grudges for a long time.
Seriously though, thanks to Meh for doing Fukus. I really do enjoy them.
This. These stupid cameras... and that damn RO filtration system that I still haven't installed yet
@capguncowboy why not sell the cameras for like a buck + shipping a piece.
@communist i actually did that on a minibike forum i frequent. I sold about 20 or so. I ended up donating a ton to someone doing a college experiment. I think i only have a few left now
@capguncowboy god damn, how many did you get?
@capguncowboy that was me! The class was themed on surveillance in modern American society. Most of the students freaked out their room mates/ significant others / coworkers / etc to varying degrees. But buuuutttt the standout example was a student filmed and narrated a video about sneaking around by the camera in the style of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series and his narration style was spot on. My husband almost died loling.
I still have them.....200 pair of Trip Glasses
I'm partial to the Pallet o' Teevees. I've traded some, given away some, and still have a couple floating around. The roller coaster ride of receiving the email, the wait, getting a pallet delivered, and realizing they were RMAs was quite the experience! Thanks again for the fun, Meh!
I'm just hoping to get SOMETHING good and fun in my first Fuku. After my car was totaled by an uninsured driver, the car my mother helped replace it with ended up having a dead a/c compressor (repair estimate is $1380), and last week, Galen, my 7-month-old Shiloh Shepherd service dog in training developed hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and nearly died (30 hours in ICU and $2000 in veterinary expenses)... I need something good to happen, something fun. REALLY need something good to happen.
