@sammydog01 I could have picked up someone to take his place on Saturday but really didnt wanna drop anyone, and of course my other TE played on Thursday, before Waller hurt himself. And my other team lost because I started a defense, not my best week and I havent even started having people on bye.

@metaphore Trench Wrench gave me a wide receiver with an average score of 22 points because he was on bye. That was a nice surprise.

@njfan @sammydog01 pretty sure someone brought it up like week 2. But all my players weren’t hurt then so it didn’t seem like a problem for me.

@metaphore @sammydog01 did bring it up earlier…but earlier doesn’t necessarily mean the start. To me, the start means before week 1 games this way every team has the opportunity to weigh in prior to the start of all games.

@njfan I seem to remember this league getting put together like 2 days before week one games, I don’t know anyone had a chance to look over your roster settings before the first game.
Obviously it’s too late to do anything about it this year, but even if you weren’t the goat, a lot of the blame for this is on you.

@metaphore @njfan Six percent of NFL players tested positive this week. The Rams, Browns, and Football Team can’t field reasonable teams at this point. Their opponents are super whiny about the delay. Somehow pushing back games when it’s getting exponentially worse doesn’t sound like a good idea but I’m not Roger Goodall. The Rams are in Super Bowl contention so that may be part of it.

@metaphore @sammydog01 I was really hoping the NFL wouldn’t backtrack on not postponing games due to covid positivity. Forfeits and two way players would have made for entertaining sports radio fodder.
I am guessing a significant number of players who tested positive were vaccinated. If that wasn’t the case, I’d imagine the league would have stuck to the original plan and said no cancellations due to unvaccinated players absences.

@metaphore @njfan The rule is still if it’s unvaccinated players causing it you forfeit. NFL players are 94.6% vaccinated. Staff is close to 100%.

Some folks say it’s because of that Vontaze Burfict hit but as time goes on, stories trickle out about stuff he did prior to that game (e.g. - the alleged improper behavior in college, showing up late to team meetings and such). It’s likely somewhere in the middle like it usually is.
