Listen, I love stroopwafel as much as any good-hearted man, but I also know that if I buy them, they will be gone in a single sitting. I fight hard to stay this side of diabetic, and that’s just the type of thing to tip me over the edge.
To finish them, you have to remember that you have them. Getting older has some advantages.
I only think of them when I am having morning coffee; I’ll have ONE with that each morning.
@pmarin Hahaha. No worries, I’ve had strangers share far more disturbing information.
Speaking of TMI, I found them most helpful during my last pregnancy. Constipation has always been a problem every time I’ve carried a kid to term. Those stroopwafels were probably the best tasting, easiest preventative measure I found in the last nearly five years or so.
Do you guys ever carry the low sugar ones? I love these things, but I can’t in good conscience order them for the sake of my health. I would eat 4 a day.
Yes, I have about 150 left from the previous two orders. And I’m about to buy another order. Because I’m stroopid.
The 2020 version of candy corn is not for everyone, especially me.

Don’t need to spend money on yet another thing that I don’t need.
Wait…this is meh…damn

The chocolate ones are pretty good.
Never bought them and probably never will after reading the ingredients.
Not gonna lie, I’ve been doing 2 a day, sometimes 3. Nearly 1/2 way through my last order.
I did not buy any last time, but I have purchased the same brand at the grocery store and they’re very good.
I miss the rip van wafels. Those taste just as good but are better for me.
@jitc I’m still pooping abundantly from one I had a few days ago. However maybe that’s a good thing. TMI, I’m sure.

Kept some, gave some to my daughter, trying to decide if I want more…hmmmm, I agree on the “healthier” version. Would like to see those again.
My buddy handed them out at Halloween. I’m not sharing mine.

I have shared some of mine but try to limit myself to one a day

Run out of Stroopwaffels by accident
I think we finished ours earlier this week.
I have about half from last time.

@zinimusprime Only 4? Those are rookie numbers
I got some interesting looks giving them out for Trick-or-Treat, but passed out around 80 of them! Wife took the rest.
I still have some from two or three times ago.
Got them for a family get together. Didn’t get them in time. More for the hubby and I to enjoy on a cold night.
My strategy of restraint is having no restraint and buying way too many of them.
