@therealjrn I’ve ordered 40 BOC’s. Got one letter. It wasn’t a pallet, but a box. A ton of orig Xbox games, random parts to vacuums, few shirts and a couple interesting things, but nothing of much value. I could find the post somewhere.
I’ll probably be a sucker and buy another one Friday.
@juststephen@therealjrn Yeah Woot the Fook happened to 'em? My last BOC was literally about 3 dollar store items for $5. And, I mean, my LAST BOC. Of course, didn’t get an IRK today which is why I sound Irked. Plus should probably get to bed why am I still up I don’t need T-shirts?
@juststephen@therealjrn My woot letter-BOC had a Wooster along with a huge box of fairly good shit that we’re still using. It was like winning the woot jackpot.
Yes, the average BOC has gone downhill, as the IRK’s have. Still, ya never know what you’re gonna get & it’s fun to try for one, and actually get one.
Every damn time I was lined up to get an I.R.K. The check out kept telling me I was a freaking robot…no offense to actual robots but I am way way way more than irk’ed that I got screwed this time…never had this issue before on this or any website. FML! FOR REAL!
@sicc574 Right above the “Yes! Fine! Just buy it already” green button was a checkbox. You need to put a check in that box first. It will ask you a couple challenge questions usually based on some images to prove you’re really a human. Did you go through that or did you just ignore the checkbox and go right to the green button?
I’ve never heard about it actually telling someone they were a robot before. It just checks to make sure you’re not. There are scripts people can write to auto purchase IRKS so they put that feature in to prevent people from an unfair advantage if they have good programming skills.
@cengland0 The box that says “I’m not a robot” was checked when it kept telling me I’m a robot. Thats why I thought it was weird. I’ve checked out from probably thousands of online stores and had to do everything from type random captchas to identify only street lights or street signs in random pictures. I assure you that not only am i not a robot but also am super familiar with the process of proving so.

I’ll give you another tip. Sometimes you get lucky and you don’t have to answer any challenge questions. Just check the box and that’s it. Consider yourself very lucky in this case.
In the situation where you’re not prompted with any challenge questions, you will notice that the check appears slowly after a couple animated circles. I captured an animated gif here:
You can be too fast. If you click that box and then immediately click the “Yes! Fine! Just buy it already!” button, it will reject it thinking the checkbox was not checked. You must wait until the animation is 100% completed.
@cengland0 Oh believe me, i did. Im telling you I am a very experienced online shopper. I just gotta chalk this one up to that day…Everything else that could go wrong did, so why not the I.R.K. too…meh!
You miscounted. There were 10.
@cengland0 all the meh-rrier!
@Felton10, um…weren’t there 10?
@therealjrn I counted the threads on the IRK-so I might have miscounted or maybe I was celebrating Meh birthday a little to hard.
At least it’s not woot with 15,000 on Friday.
@juststephen Yes! I have fond mehmories of the “New” Woot shipping out dollar store items for profit.

@juststephen Good Luck! I’m out of the BOC-buying business.

@juststephen @pmarin Um…same reason I am? Just winding down a bit before beddy-bye?
@juststephen @pmarin Aaaaand that’s a wrap for me. Good Night!

@daveinwarsh @therealjrn I remember that giant rooster.
Some of them ended up higher than 200, and others ended up lower.
How many meh clicky faces were there? I think I may have missed one or two
@heartny 28? Not sure. That is what I have.
@heartny @Kidsandliz 29 faces this time. I got 28 too but Im positive I missed one.
@cengland0 @heartny @Kidsandliz yes, there were 29. The first and last one are the same though.
@capguncowboy Thanks for confirming. Apparently I missed 3 then. Bummer.
Where can I see everything that was sold today? And for how much? Is there a list somewhere?

Yet literally hundreds of humans managed to check out successfully…are you SURE you’re not a robot @sicc574?

@Felton10 Methathon? I think I missed that. Where were we supposed to get the meth?
@lljk Good eye!!. I usually spot stuff like that but completely missed it
@lljk eh… meth may explain Glenn…
