Cinoclav's Field of 32 Day 29

What a long, strange trip it’s been. But here we are, kicking off the Fanfuckingtastic Four. Needless to say, we obviously have two of our all time favorites in Power Banks and Meh T-Shirts. How else would they have gotten here? Unless there’s some behind the scenes conspiracy where you’ve all contrived a plan to drive me insane (okay, more insane) by picking one item that absolutely no one likes and pushing it into the finals. No, you wouldn’t do that. Not because I don’t believe you wouldn’t, but because I really didn’t give you enough time to do so with springing this little tournament on you from Day 1 four whole weeks ago. I had a couple of ideas I was contemplating when it appeared I was doomed happily chosen to be the next goat. They included this tournament, which I originally conceived as a field of 64 but that would have meant multiple votes each day. There was the possibility of a daily ‘Caption the Photo’ bit, which honestly would have been a lot less work than this. ‘This Day in History’ crossed my mind, sort of like @tinamarie1974’s daily holiday posts. I would have included birthdays in that post just for some added useless information. I even considered turning this into some sort of actual prize based contest but I really would have had to announced it with enough time for you to fill out the brackets and post them. That would have meant scoring them and well, I’m a goat and goats can’t count. So just consider yourself all winners (or losers) regardless of how it turns out. Hell, even if I was going to give away something, I’d probably never get around to mailing it. That’s the meh way. (Uhh, someone still owes me a prize box… ahem.)

Day 28 wasn’t much of a surprise. Knives doubled up the Headphones, 26 to 13. I’m sure in an alternate universe the Headphones would have come out on top, but in our realm they didn’t have much of a chance. I do wonder if the Earbud lovers continued to vote for sound transmitting headpieces or if they switched their loyalty to the Knives. Regardless, in just one more day the Knives will be back to face Bubba Bottles. In the meantime, I for one am supremely interested in today’s matchup. This is almost a battle of the brain vs. the heart. Do we go with the sensible and useful Power Banks, or do we vote for the sentimental favorite Meh T-Shirts? In 24 hours we’ll know which organ rules the majority. (No people, regardless of what you think we’re not going with a third organ option.)
