Tasting Notes
The holidays this year might be a little different. Maybe don’t hang that mistletoe, make sure all rocking around the Christmas tree is done with at least six feet between each participant, and if you’re building a gingerbread house, don’t forget the addition for a home office.
And that’s okay, right? Because what’s important about the holidays is the sense of togetherness. And even if that togetherness happens over a video chat, it’s still good to see each other!
So pour yourself a glass of this fine red wine blend, enjoy the rich fruit on the nose and the notes of berry, cherry, and black plum on the palate, all giving way to the perfect holiday finish: a touch of nutmeg and vanilla. Then, open your computer, set up a Zoom, raise a glass of Cheer (From Over Here), and enjoy a not-so-silent night with your friends and family!

@curtise I love it when they sell wine. I’m no wine expert and having it offered at meh makes the choice for me. So far I have not been disappointed. Plus, free shipping as a member. Meh sells stuff also sold at SideDeals and MorningSave, why not Casemates?
@PHRoG, It is several different vinyards selling to one supplier who blends, bottles & sells the finished product to buyers, like meh…,or somethin like that. i am not a wine expert, wino, nor a PR spokesman for the Wine Industry, ergo, my termiinology likely does not meet a wine linguist`s stand-ard, but you should be able to get the gist of my explanation.
@PHRoG it’s a wine blended of multiple varieties of grape. When you think “red wine,” you’re often thinking about a single grape (merlot, Cabernet) as the answer to “what kind of wine is it.” In a red blend, they use multiple varieties of grape to balance out the flavor the winemaker is looking for. Blends are not better or worse than single varietals- it’s like blended scotch vs. single malt. At lower price points, I often prefer blends because it’s easier to balance the flavor that way that with a single, inexpensive, grape.
@decoratedwarvet@PHRoG
Pedroncelli has many holdings, this is likely all estate fruit, and not some bulk purchase lesser producers acquire. Not that they all do, but those bottled under a second, third label are more likely to do.
Been to their tasting room and vineyards many times. Impressive.
Can’t guarantee this is ~exactly~ correct, but strongly believe they will be.
Pedroncelli Sonoma Classico: the standard by
which all others are measured Definition of a classic: judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and an outstanding example.
Sonoma County’s classic roots are in those early blends ranging from
“Burgundy”, “Claret” and “Mountain Red” to today’s high-end “Red
Wine Blends”. These wines have been a regular part of Sonoma
County’s heritage. Sonoma Classico is the next step in the evolution of
these blends. The classic style invites you to gather round the table as
it becomes part of the meal not the centerpiece. It is the sharing of this
wine with family and friends that defines it as a standard.
The Vineyard & Cellar
A very good growing season and cooler night temperatures during harvest allowed the grapes to mature at slower pace, accumulating flavors
and retaining acidity. Depending on variety the fruit was picked over the month of September. Small lots were chosen in order to bring site specific qualities into focus within the blend.
Barrel aging took place over 14 months in new and seasoned American oak barrels with 25% new oak. Working toward an approachable style, the time in oak softens the wine and adds complex layers to the finished product. The oak influence is nuanced and a supporting player because of the judicious use of new oak blended with neutral barrels.
Tasting Notes
From the fruit forward aromas to the lingering flavors, Sonoma Classico blends the characteristics of each grape seamlessly: jammy blackberry and red plum along with warm baking spice and hints of violet and vanilla. A medium bodied blend, there is an underlying structure of
smooth tannins bringing balance along with toasted oak notes and a peppery finish.
It’s several different types of grapes (or wine) mixed together to meet a desired taste or flavor profile. In this case, we made all the wine and then blended them together.

@decoratedwarvet@PHRoG@pupator you meant to say the correct answer instead of the completely made-up nonsense you posted? Of course you did. You’re the “I knew that all along” and “That’s what I meant to say” guy. Try being the guy who doesn’t answer if he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. That’s much more helpful for people with questions. It’s ok to not know things and to admit you don’t know those things.

@pedroncellifam, a question please. @radiolysis noticed the screw top. First, yes do whatever you can to keep costs down so you can bring us this great wine for such a great price, much appreciated. I was wondering though, does the screw cap you used allow the wine to develop? Will this be better in a few years, you think?
@InFrom
Yeah, was thinking about that too, but what to name it?

Kinda like Meh Cheer.
Could just link to the Classico, but that’s not quite right either.
The winemaker is Pedroncelli, so it’s an easy QPR auto-buy. If you gift wine, or just drink it as table wine, this should be an easy decision to pull the trigger.
@Stallion it was made specifically for this purpose by a reputable winemaker. Unlikely to be crap. Likely to be an easy drinker, perfect for a Christmas party or three.
@Stallion This is from Pedroncelli, a winemaker who is an ‘auto-buy’ over at casemates.com. They are known for consistently high quality at reasonable prices. As mentioned earlier, “Pedroncelli” is Italian for “great QPR”, where “QPR” standas for “Quality/Price Ratio”.
If you don’t love these, I’ll take them of your hands for only the cost of shipping.

@klezman@Winedavid49 Ah, that’s what I needed. In for a case. From recent tasting notes for the Classico, sounds like this will improve for a few years. Normal for Pedroncelli of course.
Funny, apparently the label on for the 2016 classico lists “Sangio, and also includes Zin, Merlot, and PS”. And some distributor said it was “Merlot, Zin, P.S., & Syrah”. Well, given any 4 of those 5, I bet our Pedroncelli friends will succeed.
@CruelMelody@InFrom, it’s just as well; if you drink it inside, and around others, you have to wear a mask between swallows. You don’t wanna get fn Conivarous!!
as Meh customers you get club benefits from winery direct orders. Call Colin pseudo direct (pandemic office protocol) 707-857-3531 option 2. Leave him a message and he’ll call you back, flip some switches for you and hook you up!
@zachdecker
As the Borge say…Resistance Is Futile>>>You are now pushing the order button, yes you are; the Collective is now happy. zachdecker is now one of one.
14.8 % is god awful strong and with that much alcohol content this is likely sweet as spiked Hawaiian punch.
You want grapes that strong just go ahead and get some properly fortified like port or sherry. It’s not just this one but 21st century Cali wine production that speeds certain elements of fermentation and literally turbocharges aspects of the growth process that create elevated alcohol levels 2% and more over centuries of honored natural production alcohol levels. You might love it if a sweet double bang for the buck is what you want. Enjoy!?
@Octomeh also, there have been prior holiday red blends that included port in the blend. And I believe said previous red blend was made by this same winemaker. So there may in fact be port in this wine. Or not.
@Octomeh Sorry - you’ve gotten some bad information. The relationship between sugar and alcohol % isn’t simple enough to make one certain from knowing the other.
But if you are going to guess/generalize on a given bottle, your method is backwards. Yeast convert sugar into alcohol. More sugar in a wine would generally come from a lower alcohol % because the yeast left sugar behind. Higher % alcohol would imply more of the sugar was consumed by the yeast and less is left to taste sweet to the drinker.
tldr; don’t generalize on this ratio and if you do higher ABV = lower sugar.

@CruelMelody@mike808@Octomeh, what I meant was, ‘ain’t brandy also, a wine’? [it is a lot more than 11℅-17℅]!! I was chimmin in on a wine percentage debate, or discussion. But, Yeah, ‘Here’s To All The Brandies In The World’!!
@CruelMelody@InFrom@mike808@Octomeh, you are technically correct, but it just stumps me when it’s common knowledge that brandy is Made From Wine, but is not a form of wine simply because it’s distilled. It seems that Brandy could just be referred to as a distilled wine, and the same is true of Cognac which many drinkers don’t even know is also a Brandy.
@CruelMelody@decoratedwarvet@InFrom@Octomeh
It is common knowledge that “Brandy” is made from fermented fruit juice, not exclusively made from fermented grape juice, commonly known as “wine”.
Brandy is a distilled spirit produced from fermented fruit juice. Most often, the fruit is grapes—making brandy distilled wine—though apple, apricot, peach, and other fruits can be used to make brandy.
Grape brandy is distilled from the mash, juice or wine of grapes. Fruit brandies are made from any fruit—a classic example is Calvados, a brandy made from apples. Pomace brandy, such as Grappa, is distilled from the pulp and skins left over after wine production.
QED “Brandy” is not synonymous with “distilled wine”. The latter is a specific kind of the former, and usage is improper the other way around.
It is the logical fallacy of “All humans are animals. All dogs are animals. All dogs are humans.” The property of a specific is not transitive to the general.
@CruelMelody@InFrom@mike808@Octomeh, Thanks, for your knowledgeable, and very informative input. As you can see, you know much more than I & I meant my interjections to be more in the form of questions, or inquiries though they may not’ve came off quite that way. My Bad! That said, ‘Evolution’ is not my cup of tea, ergo, I think Man is a completely different & separate species from an animal, namely monkeys, chimps, orangatans, gorillas, etc. These are only my personal opinions, which are neither here, nor their as far as the topic of Brandy is concerned. Again, Thanks, for your wise post; it was a nice enjoyable read!
My dog [my Boss] thinks he Is A Human!! LOL << Low On Liquor!
@CruelMelody@decoratedwarvet@InFrom@mike808@Octomeh So you’re saying you’re continuing to talk straight out of your ass, and you don’t believe in evolution? Not surprising in the least. Get those meds yet?
I don’t drink enough wine to buy even 6 bottle unsure if I will like it. Can I beg for n idea. The wine calendar. 12 bottle 12 different wines that will be offered at casemates some time each month Jan to December. That way one can try them each before committing to 6 or 12.
@CaptAmehrican I don’t drink a lot of wine either, except after a shipment from meh or Casemates, so I guess it is fairer to say I do not drink a large variety of wine. May I suggest that folks like you and I might not have as discerning palates as those who have experienced more wine, so the chances of finding a “bad” bottle are small? I have bought all but one of the meh wine offerings since I joined (Oct. 2019), and not been disappointed. The tasting notes and member recommendations here and at Casemates are a good guide.
That said, I like your suggestion. And while I ordinarily do not like to direct people off the site, Instacart now offers wine through The Wine Shop. I have a variety selection on the way to me now. Unlike the other stores Instacart offers, it is shipped Fedex from somewhere rather than shopped locally, so it should be available almost anywhere in the US, save for state law and licensing fuckery.
@pmarin it’s come a long way since high school. We have 5% ABV in grocery stores. 1.5 ounce pours in cocktails. But still no wine of the month clubs. The State wants their sin tax revenue.
Pedroncelli Italian for QPR
In for a couple of cases for gifting and, yes, cellaring.
These nearly always benefit from those that can be patient.

Seems like an appropriate phrase for the season this year, even if the image isn’t.
Cases sold out already, but I still got a six - like we need more wine the way we’ve been going at casemates, but this is a good deal.
/giphy joyful-rednosed-bow
@irenegade Nooo! I hadn’t ordered yet. I was going to get a 6, but would have been happy to split that with you. Maybe they’ll find a few extra cases lying around?
@irenegade Oh, it’s just that they paused the deal until 4, for us VMPs to get another crack at it. I can get us a case to split. I’ll email you. I really don’t want >6.
yeah… I had to log in to post the comment (evidently I had timed out) and when I checked the page again I saw the “suspended” status rather than “sold out.” I’ll try if I don’t lose my time sense. Wish me luck (unless you’re trying to beat me to it…)
Miss out? While I don’t have any more of this wine to offer I have some other deals going on. Shoot me an email and I’ll get back to you on Monday…we treat WineDavid’s friends pretty well when they buy direct! ed@pedroncelli.com
So glad I did the right thing earlier in the day—-scored a case (wife will likely freak out since a case already arrived this week from another casemates offering) quilted-nostalgic-angel
If anyone near the Milwaukee, WI area needs to unload any, I’d love to have at least 1 bottle to try and save for my collection of Wine.Woot and Casemates wines.
Disappointed I did not see this early enough to buy, especially at such a nice price. If I wasn’t so tired from work last night I might have remembered to check soon enough. I guess I can drown my sorrows in the 3 cases I bought during this gift week.
I ordered because of all the positive comments - so thanks for those.
Wondering about the coupon that was in the box which says “$20 off your first purchase (at Casemates)”. I am a regular customer at Casemates - is this for everyone or just new first time customers?
@fjp999 If it turns out to be for 1st time buyers only I’ll be happy to take it off your hands. I can’t get any shipped here (Alabama) but have kids in other states I could drop ship to …
@chienfou@fjp999 Hopefully some others have coupons too, I got one with my cheer & also with my w**t holiday box, so if a new individual is interested in joining us at Casemates also ping a few of us and see who has “first time” coupons to offer!
@chienfou@fjp999 I’d be interested to hear how it comes out. When I used mine (an earlier code) as a first-time customer, it was not recognized. I had to get CS and eventually shawn involved.
@chienfou@ThunderChicken I was waiting for some bubbly and magically it appeared a week ago. My code didn’t go thru so I gave up especially since it was during a weekend and didn’t think CS would respond in time.
I whispered my code (but as you noted it is not a individual specific code) to chienfou. I have been ordering from casemates for some time and would like to see new members join as not only are the wines great but the forum is very helpful.
Huge shoutout to Sean on the Meh side for helping divert the delivery mid-delivery due to a sudden need to be out of town. Saved my bacon! Thanks, Sean!

Ordered straight from casemates I’d guess?
I hate when the main Meh site sells wine. That’s what Casemates is for!
@curtise I love it when they sell wine. I’m no wine expert and having it offered at meh makes the choice for me. So far I have not been disappointed. Plus, free shipping as a member. Meh sells stuff also sold at SideDeals and MorningSave, why not Casemates?
@ThunderChicken generally meh sells things before they are on morningsave or side deal, at a lower price point.
@curtise @ThunderChicken, I dont know about the less than $10 a bottle price, but i live in a state where i cant get it delivered to my address.anyway!
@curtise @ThunderChicken I love it too!!
@decoratedwarvet I can see how that would be frustrating. It wastes a day of meh for you. Not to say that most days on meh aren’t wasted.
No state list this time?
@embedit None in the description, but the order system still knows.
@craigthom @embedit
No Alabama. Yes Missouri.
That’s all I know from ordering.
@embedit, it was slipped in there later!!
How does this compare to the WFH wine? Cause that was DELICIOUS, but Mad Ape Den was horrible.
Is Meh hiding something about Casemates? I wonder if Total Wine is looking to expand to delivery.
I love it when Meh sells holiday wine. I never check casemates on a regular basis but I’m down for the Meh holiday blends.
I’m down.

@klezman more like our Classico.
What’s a single serve wine carrier? Wine glasses?
@CruelMelody It’s a paper bag! Check the other photos.
@InFrom perfect I can drink it outside
@CruelMelody A single serving is a bottle. So somehow they managed to get 12 bottles into 4 bottles. Some kind of quantum mechanics, I suspect…
@CruelMelody @InFrom, it’s just as well; if you drink it inside, and around others, you have to wear a mask between swallows. You don’t wanna get fn Conivarous!!
@CruelMelody it’s a carrier for gifting.
This is good stuff. Pre-covid vintage.
From “The Before Times”.
@mike808 Yep, get your hands on it while you can.
You’ll be able to trade this for grain, wood, some silver, maybe even a sheep.
This time the cross promotion with Casemates went full hog. What did Meh sell over at Casemates?
@RedOak BlueTooth wine glasses? (Kinda like BT light bulbs…)
Just a guess.
You had me at Pedroncelli
/giphy decorative-grateful-ralphie
@Superllama7 this is pretty damn far from the gif I was expecting with that combination of words…
@Superllama7, that’s what she said!!
Colorful Meh-click today.
Do you have any more of that QPR wine?
@Rstoker just tidbits. come visit our warehouse in Sonoma.
@Rstoker
as Meh customers you get club benefits from winery direct orders. Call Colin pseudo direct (pandemic office protocol) 707-857-3531 option 2. Leave him a message and he’ll call you back, flip some switches for you and hook you up!
This sounds terrific, but my last case of mixed Pedroncelli from Casemates hasn’t even arrived yet.
I need to try to convince myself I need this one now too.
@zachdecker
As the Borge say…Resistance Is Futile>>>You are now pushing the order button, yes you are; the Collective is now happy. zachdecker is now one of one.
@PLSemenza @zachdecker better hurry up!
No idea what I’m getting into here…but, Meh, in for a case.
/giphy starlit-comfortable-mistletoe
14.8 % is god awful strong and with that much alcohol content this is likely sweet as spiked Hawaiian punch.
You want grapes that strong just go ahead and get some properly fortified like port or sherry. It’s not just this one but 21st century Cali wine production that speeds certain elements of fermentation and literally turbocharges aspects of the growth process that create elevated alcohol levels 2% and more over centuries of honored natural production alcohol levels. You might love it if a sweet double bang for the buck is what you want. Enjoy!?
@Octomeh not necessarily true - I’ve had dry wines approaching 17% and sweet wines below 10% 🥳
@Octomeh OH NO a cheap bottle of wine that will also get me drunk faster!
@Octomeh also, there have been prior holiday red blends that included port in the blend. And I believe said previous red blend was made by this same winemaker. So there may in fact be port in this wine. Or not.
@Octomeh uh…ok. Most of what you said is incorrect.
@Octomeh who doesn’t enjoy a sweet double bang?
@CruelMelody @Octomeh, what about Brandy¿?
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @Octomeh
She can have a double bang too.
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @mike808 @Octomeh if she doesn’t you’re definitely doing it wrong…
@zmtroger
Isn’t that what Boone Farm wine by the gallon is for? I don’t like wine but when in college that is what my friends would buy.
@Octomeh it’s not sweet. reference the pedroncelli classico for comparison.
@Octomeh @Winedavid49
Ahhh, so this is the Classico! or close to it.
Technical Information
COMPOSITION A proprietary blend of Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel
APPELLATION Dry Creek & Alexander Valley, Sonoma County
AGING 14 months in American Oak barrels, 25%
new
ALCOHOL 14.8%
pH 3.61
TOTAL ACIDITY .570g/100ml
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @mike808 @Octomeh How’s that for Chrixtmas cheer!
@Octomeh Completely disagree. Opolo Mountain Zinfandel from Paso Robles is a full 16% and it’s still delicious. ABV is one metric, not the only one.
@CruelMelody @mike808 @Octomeh, what I meant was, ‘ain’t brandy also, a wine’? [it is a lot more than 11℅-17℅]!! I was chimmin in on a wine percentage debate, or discussion. But, Yeah, ‘Here’s To All The Brandies In The World’!!
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @mike808 @Octomeh Brandy is not wine. It is distilled, not fermented.
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @InFrom @mike808 @Octomeh ??? It is distilled wine. Fermented, then distilled.
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @mike808 @Octomeh @rpstrong I disagree. Once it’s been distilled, it’s no longer wine, it’s brandy. Now excuse me while I go pour myself a glass of fermented grape juice.
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @InFrom @mike808 @Octomeh Aye, tis no longer wine - but the point that I meant to convey was that distillation and fermentation are not mutually exclusive.
And now I’m off to fetch a bit of distilled, fermented corn mixed up with some eggs. Cheers!
@CruelMelody @InFrom @mike808 @Octomeh, you are technically correct, but it just stumps me when it’s common knowledge that brandy is Made From Wine, but is not a form of wine simply because it’s distilled. It seems that Brandy could just be referred to as a distilled wine, and the same is true of Cognac which many drinkers don’t even know is also a Brandy.
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @InFrom @Octomeh
It is common knowledge that “Brandy” is made from fermented fruit juice, not exclusively made from fermented grape juice, commonly known as “wine”.
QED “Brandy” is not synonymous with “distilled wine”. The latter is a specific kind of the former, and usage is improper the other way around.
It is the logical fallacy of “All humans are animals. All dogs are animals. All dogs are humans.” The property of a specific is not transitive to the general.
@CruelMelody @InFrom @mike808 @Octomeh, Thanks, for your knowledgeable, and very informative input.
@CruelMelody @decoratedwarvet @InFrom @mike808 @Octomeh So you’re saying you’re continuing to talk straight out of your ass, and you don’t believe in evolution? Not surprising in the least. Get those meds yet?
Great order number for the season!
/image spiked loving merrymaking
(First try was NSFW.)
@ThunderChicken maybe the NSFW one was merry lovemaking instead of loving merrymaking?
@pmarin Pretty much.
Hooray for Christmas booze!

/giphy affable-pumpkinspiced-reindeer
Yayyyyy! Wine just in time for all my delivery people!
@deemkooo EXACTLY!
Ah yes. Mediocre’s favorite way to say “Utah doesn’t really matter “
@dalekjoe Tell that to your lawmakers.
@rpstrong pointless. They are morons.
@dalekjoe It’s not like they can force the state to allow wine shipments to individuals…
@dalekjoe @InFrom @pedroncellifam
There are, however, times when the producer can make it happen.
Ped just may be able to open that door.
@InFrom hence the many emojis
@InFrom I mean Utah’s not even the only state that can’t get this meh. I know that.
I was just being silly and really I was meaning to jab more at utah than meh. But interwebs are a terrible place to communicate a mediocre joke.
@dalekjoe @InFrom @rjquillin even I, the miracle worker, can’t make miracles happen in Utah!
@pedroncellifam stupid utah

My third case in a month. Oh boy…
/giphy abominable-glistening-prancer
Should be worth a try.

So Pedroncelli is doing this year’s version of the QPR? Good enough for me.
I don’t like wine but have many friends that like a sweet wine. Would this wine be considered sweet? If so it would help me out with many gifts.
@pat7848 not considered sweet. but has nice approachable fruit. did you see the cool single bottle bags that come with it?
In for a case. I can drink whatever I don’t give away!
/giphy fondest-opulent-yeti
YES…love me some Pedroncelli!!! In for a case…

Fucking Utah
@j37hr0 When I was in college, a friend from Idaho would say “Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow you may be in Utah”
@pmarin it’s come a long way since high school. We have 5% ABV in grocery stores. 1.5 ounce pours in cocktails. But still no wine of the month clubs. The State wants their sin tax revenue.
Time for some cheer in NE Florida!!!
/giphy delightful-polar-delight
Pedroncelli Italian for QPR
In for a couple of cases for gifting and, yes, cellaring.
These nearly always benefit from those that can be patient.
/giphy playful-miniature-gathering
Seems like an appropriate phrase for the season this year, even if the image isn’t.
@rjquillin I shudder to think what joke Nikki Glaser told that caused such an audience reaction that she had to tell them to stop it.
@rjquillin @ThunderChicken
Was it the one about “What did Cinderella say when she got to the ball?”
@mike808 “ackhh achkghk”
Buy now! Ask questions later!!

Is this the lowest price we’ve ever seen on a Pedroncelli Red?
In for two!
All I needed was another web site to buy wine. Pedroncelli is one of my favorites.
/giphy warm-venerable-chestnut
Damn it. I wasn’t going to buy any more reds…
/giphy timeless-droll-solstice
/giphy festooned-caroling-log
Wow, what a deal for a Pedroncelli wine.

/giphy marvelous-legendary-winter
Pedroncelli always a great QPR but this price is really good. Agreed, I will find room! Buy before it sells out!
/giphy generous-thoughtful-chestnut
Cases sold out already, but I still got a six - like we need more wine the way we’ve been going at casemates, but this is a good deal.
/giphy joyful-rednosed-bow
Oh No! The cases and 6 packs are sold out already! @infrom have any extra from your cases?
@irenegade Nooo! I hadn’t ordered yet. I was going to get a 6, but would have been happy to split that with you. Maybe they’ll find a few extra cases lying around?
@irenegade Oh, it’s just that they paused the deal until 4, for us VMPs to get another crack at it. I can get us a case to split. I’ll email you. I really don’t want >6.
@irenegade I’ll be refreshing madly at 4:00
/giphy I’ll be back
@irenegade They only had 6-packs – I bought one.

@fjp999 Love me some Fred Astaire!
@fjp999 @InFrom yes! Time to watch Holiday Inn And White Christmas!
@bunnymasseuse @fjp999 'Tis the season – though I don’t believe Fred is in the latter.
I like the classic ones with Ginger, and all the other lovely danseuses he co-starred with.
@fjp999 @InFrom correct he was not in the latter, but if not for Holiday Inn there would be no White Christmas, where the song first was introduced.
@bunnymasseuse @InFrom I believe one of those has a rather crazy black face scene but forget which one.
Pretty sure TCM will have both on for the Christmas programming.
@bunnymasseuse @fjp999 @InFrom Netflix has White Christmas. I watched it several days ago,
Came back to see if there was a state list yet (there wasn’t when I went to bed), and there is. Also a “sold out” notice.
@revmem come back for vmp at 4pm
@revmem oh they finally got around to that… I thought about it but they couldn’t be bothered to tell who could buy it… And turns out I can’t.
yeah… I had to log in to post the comment (evidently I had timed out) and when I checked the page again I saw the “suspended” status rather than “sold out.” I’ll try if I don’t lose my time sense. Wish me luck (unless you’re trying to beat me to it…)
Came back right at 4. 12 was already sold out, I ordered a 6, and a minute or so later they were gone too. Must be nice to be popular
@revmem yep, saw cases gone also, but even at 2 6pk the price is still right, especially with free shipping!
@bunnymasseuse I just got the 1 6. Figured I’d better be quick.
@revmem I was like well let’s load this cart up!
Miss out? While I don’t have any more of this wine to offer I have some other deals going on. Shoot me an email and I’ll get back to you on Monday…we treat WineDavid’s friends pretty well when they buy direct! ed@pedroncelli.com
No cases available so had to buy the more pricey 2 6pk…
/giphy delicious-cold-keepsake
Cases didn’t come back but <$10 Ped is worth jackhammering that buy button

@Foobarski
Thanks
I was stressing over Meh or CM and needed a shove.
@Foobarski I took a stab at creating an entry and messed it up. Idk what happened. Glad you got it right.
@rjquillin I think CM is the better pick, the writeup says the wine comes via CM.
@rjquillin Can you put it with the callout posts at the top?
@InFrom @Foobarski
Don’t know which of the two of you did the entry, I just followed the link and it was there.
Not sure it’ll stick, but look just below
What’s in the Box?
@Foobarski @rjquillin There it is!

The wife liked it…so what else matters.
Got mine Thursday and was pleasantly surprised.
I can’t get any shipped here (Alabama) but have kids in other states I could drop ship to …
@chienfou I will pass it onto you if I can’t use it. It is a rather healthy discount and there doesn’t appear to be an expiration date either!
@fjp999
Thanks. Be ABSOLUTELY sure you can’t use it first, but if not, send me a whisper and I’ll ‘take care of it’.
Thanks!
@chienfou That is what I was planning to do. I do have a ton of wine atm so I may be waiting for that special something. Welcome.
@chienfou @fjp999 Hopefully some others have coupons too, I got one with my cheer & also with my w**t holiday box, so if a new individual is interested in joining us at Casemates also ping a few of us and see who has “first time” coupons to offer!
@chienfou @fjp999 I’d be interested to hear how it comes out. When I used mine (an earlier code) as a first-time customer, it was not recognized. I had to get CS and eventually shawn involved.
@bunnymasseuse I have one as well. Really, I have an unlimited number, since it’s just a promo code.
@chienfou @ThunderChicken I was waiting for some bubbly and magically it appeared a week ago.
Was looking forward to receiving my case tomorrow but it was damaged in transit as of yesterday <Meh> =_=
@cartyre OMG, that SUX!
Chalk up another case of wine lost to the gremlins of 2020. Hoping @winedavid49 has enough left to ship replacement.
@corrado That bites!
Arrived yesterday. Looking to chug this plonk soon. /jk
Huge shoutout to Sean on the Meh side for helping divert the delivery mid-delivery due to a sudden need to be out of town. Saved my bacon! Thanks, Sean!
