@ybmuG I wouldn’t pay anything. While I have something like 2400+ clicks I only have 70 days in a row right now and my high was 408 or 480 or something like that. I have missed too many too often to make that worth paying for. But there are a couple who had incredible streaks going and then lost a day who might pay you a significant amount in something other than monopoly money.
@therealjrn my bank won’t send to Bahamian banks for some stupid reason. They said if you send me a signed blank check to prove you own the account, they’ll make a custom transfer. Seemed reasonable to me
Meh should develop a crypto currency that is generated by clicking on the meh button. One mehchant-coin per click and allow people to buy and sell them. Maybe even have an IRK event once a mehrathon where the IRK costs meh-coins instead of money.
/apologies to @medz, I just read your comment after posting this
@OnionSoup@RiotDemon Well if an old thread is accidentally going to be given new life, this is one of the better ones to have this happen to - especially in light of some recent threads where people had lost streaks of thousands.
Any chance we could get a previously dead topic to be visually distinctive or something for a while, if brought back to life?
Say, if the interval between distant and recent post dates were more than 60 days apart, then, for the un-necro’d topic, automatically give it a diff color font or similar?
Next: if the un-necro’d topic then gets more than a certain # of new posts (for instance, say, 10); then consider the topic to be living and breathing on its own; and revert to the usual font color?
Which would not stop the @Volmods from “helping” spam posts, of course.
Create a virtual user called @VolMod or similar.
Then if someone needs to notify a VolMods, and they entered the uid @Volmod (or whatever uid nickname is chosen) into a post, all of you would be notified automagically …
