WOW! I took a look at the Amazon reviews and this thing makes some beautiful patterns and light effects, northern lights that I probably won’t ever see in real life. Pretty cool!
I actually like it a little more without the stars lit. The colors are nice in a dimly lit room, but even more vibrant in a completely dark room (which I suppose is a fairly obvious statement, lol!)
@k4evryng Agreed. I use the app and have the stars turned way down. Much more enjoyable that way. I like having the stars on but dimmed. It gives it more of a 3D feel that way.
@sammydog01 you should probably do it soon. I think I read that a few from here didn’t rotate, so you might want to check while you still have time to do a return if you need to.
@brainmist the stars are definitely un-star like. More like pin points of laser light with no real variation in intensity or size (if I’m remembering correctly).
When mixed in with the nebula, they aren’t too bad, but I prefer the colored clouds to the ‘stars’. I’d still rate it a 8 or 9 out of 10 as a cool little light projector.
My daughter got one for christmas and she loves it. I do wish there was some way to lock out the laser though because I’m worried she won’t use it responsibly.
Mine works fine - but my phone is too new for their discontinued app. 1 caution - we lost power during a recent storm, and when power was restored, the Bliss came on. Luckily it wasn’t on for several unsupervised hours.

@Lynnerizer it’s actually much cooler than I thought it would be, lol!
I really like it. The colors are bright, and I like that you can choose whether or not it rotates…and also whether you want the stars lit.
I bought 2 last time as gifts, and I’m considering a couple more for the gift closet…
@k4evryng @Lynnerizer Seconded, the effects are very impressive. EDIT: added an example photo.
These really are pretty cool. One of my favorite things I’ve picked up from here in quite a while. Just grabbed another to give as a birthday present.
Have you looked at the -ve reviews, makes noise quits working after a few days, low level lighting …meh
@Dubhlaine I’m running mine right now. It’s quiet and bright.
Actual picture of my ceiling when using one of these that I got from here a couple months ago.
@Bingo Great pic! It’s so pretty!

@Bingo @k4evryng I still need to get mine out of the box.

@k4evryng I just plugged it in, love it.
@Bingo @k4evryng The stars seem very un-star-like.

@rraszews Piece of duct tape?
Ok, got spousal approval that these will work great as birthday gifts for my kid’s friends.

Adding to all the other raves…. I gave it to my 13 year old son this Christmas, and we both like it a lot!
