I’ll conceed they’re a little inconvenient. I actually got a liitle package of refillable Kcup coffee filters in a BOC awhile back. Yes, they are tiny. Yes, they’re a little ridiculous. But they make cleanup a breeze.

@olperfesser Regular drip what is that? I use a Chemex, is that drip coffee? Had a friend show me one 45+years ago and never looked for any other way to make coffee. But maybe there are better options?
I do believe Nespresso coffees are a step up from KUERIGS. But they’re also way more expensive in general. Sister-in-law has a Nespresso, I have a Keurig. In for one pack of each (assorted) makes it easy to cover us both.
This will make my next trip to visit her more pleasant. Since she’s pretty much stopped drinking coffee she was down to her last three pods for the Nespresso machine. I’ll bring these with me next time and leave them with her for when I come visit… best buy dates be damned.

That’s correct. Eating questionable foods help us to build intestinal fortitude… literally. This is a handy skill when/if you travel in semi-third-world countries.
Side note: not being super familiar with Nespresso pods I’m hoping I can sneak these in to her container without them being individually marked with the ‘best by’ date. I don’t think she, or any of her guests, will ever notice the difference in all honesty. And the Elle brand name is right up her alley.

@heartny Whoa! That’s very good - and chilling!

@therealjrn I have those they’re too much work.

@therealjrn I have a sip club membership at Panera, $120 for drinks every 2 hours for a year. This is for mornings I don’t want to put on pants.

Sounds like it’s not a fair fight, capsules vs pods.
In Nespresso’s new app, they are now calling the capsules pods.
It always seemed to me like a product that sacrifices environmental consciousness for convenience…which is never good.
Microplastics.
I use giant coffee mugs, it would take two of those pods to make one cup for me. Regular drip, dark French roast for me.

Free.
@yakkoTDI pod-free?
I have very little experience with Nespresso pods, not enough to pick a favorite between Nespresso and Keurig.
