0It’s still summer, the weather is still up there, and for some folks, a new school year will be starting soon. July is also coming to a close with means @Aetherwizard’s month of goatdom is almost over – and a new month is upon us.

Haven’t we generally been waiting till the stroke of midnight (so to speak) for these recruitments?

You hardly heard from @Aetherwizard. So I want to blame him for all the flooding, Wild fires in the US/ Canda & of the Heat
If there is no nomination before midnight tomorrow, I guess we’re done with this. Since threads get buried so easily, the end of making this one of the pinned items has further eroded the tradition.
I would nominate my cat, Freya, except she likely would not acknowledge any Blame in any event, being a cat. (She apparently adopted the username @Freyacat back on January 1. I was probably asleep at the keyboard when it happened. She’s good at causing that.)

@Bump @heartny @werehatrack One of the vets at the animal clinic I took my pets to before I moved was a Dr. Bump. Ironically, I never saw her again after she took leave and then retired from there after becoming pregnant.
I’ll start (and end??) the nominations by selecting @ShotgunX for the August “Back to Skool” goat!! He’s been dodging bullets for over 10 years now so it’s about time he gets hit (metaphorically speaking) and takes one for the team!!

It is now July 32nd. Voting is technically closed, and there is a presumption that the results have been Officially Tabulated. August will begin when the new Goat is officially installed.
