I blame @sammydog01 because I just got the creepiest compliment (?) of my life. Me: wearing (blue) jeans and carrying a red & white summer tote, coming out of Panera’s. A guy my age or older said ‘Very patriotic outfit, I like the red white and blue!’ me: Uh, thanks. Him: ‘This country needs more patriotism like that! Don’t you agree?’ me: Uh… (glance at phone, pretend to answer, get in car…) This is a high R area, and we D keep our heads down mostly. I shall now switch to my RWB Union Jack themed shirts.

Counter blame: I don’t feel like walking downstairs for a pair of scissors to open the bag.

I could’ve been unblaming someone else because 6 of the 8 shirt.woot randoms that arrived were on AA, but noooooo – somebody had to stuff some votes! And even the mutant Anvil was a catshirt (and the neckstrech Anvil was also a good design) so for once, I was satisfied with all of them.

Also, my Cute of the Month shirt was sufficiently cute enough for me not to complain, so that’s unblame worthy too.

So thanks (x9) for being a good runner-up goat, @sammydog01!

I was talking to @TickledLizard and @FruityFraug via Hangouts, and one of them told me something interesting.

They signed up for a study from a well-known company (cough Samsung cough) which involves trying a device with app reporting for 6 months and then being allowed to keep it. Meanwhile, they also entered a different study which involves a flavor of Mountain Dew called Spiked Lemonade.

Yesterday, they got an email from UPS to expect a delivery for today (Next Day Air shipping). Shipping cost was $38.28 (without any additional add-ons).

While they’d have loved to get a new device, it’s non-Nexus and can’t be rooted for 6 months. On the other hand, Spiked Lemonade!!! (Not that they could drink it for several reasons).

Turns out, the package was the Spiked Lemonade.

They blame you @sammydog01 for this.

But seriously, who sends spiked lemonade with next day delivery?!?
