Kind of. Our kids are all grown and out of the house. They all have their own jobs and other commitments, while my wife and I are (relatively) carefree retirees. So this year, we let the kids pick the date that worked for them to get together for celebrating and it is today. Got the tree on Friday, got everything decorated and presents wrapped on Saturday and the family “Christmas” dinner is today.
It feels a little weird but it’s nice to have the family all together.
I absolutely LOVE living where I do in SoCal.
But… yeah, Xmas time is weird here in the land of perfect weather.
Not really, but I only chugged the bottle a few minutes ago.
No. Just worn out. Going to travel. Also don’t know what to get anyone.

@macromeh That’s so smart! Your kids must really appreciate it.
To me it’s just winter because I don’t celebrate any holidays.
No, I’m waiting until after dinner to have some spirits.
Holiday spirit?

@rockblossom The ghost of Christmas present?
/showme a Holiday spirit drinking spirits to keep his spirits up.
@mediocrebot um… yes, I always put on a cowboy hat and punch myself in the face to get in the Holiday Spirit.
