How are you going to taunt us with these sub par stands for our phones once again instead of giving us the premium meh faced pop sockets that not only work as stands but as grips!
I got some of these in Morningsaves mystery boxes. Gave them to some co-workers and my family members co-workers. They love them and wanted to know when I can get more. So in for x3 of each color.
So I grabbed a 6-pack of these last time, and I found out:
They aren’t actually that good for standing phones up while charging, at least not ones where the charging cord plugs in at the bottom (which is basically every phone in the house)
They are, however, great for standing things up that are more-or-less flat and don’t need charging. I have three in use in my office — one holding up a small painting, one I drop letters in that I need to go through (they get dealt with a lot faster if they’re standing up in my field of vision), and one that I keep empty to drop my work phone in if I’m on a videoconference on it when I walk in and just need it to stand up for another few minutes (it sounds a lot better that way because the speaker is in an odd place).
Don’t get hung up on these as phone stands — think of what else you need to stand up, and consider them for that.
@kensey@RiotDemon Those folding ones are awesome. I bought some the last time they were available, and use mine all the time. They slip nicely into my pocket and I hardly notice it’s there. These that they are selling look fine if you don’t want to take one with you, but just leave them wherever you need them.
@phendrick Not if you just stood them up standing free, but you could maybe put the flatter back feet of two or three under the end book and brace it up that way.
@hchavers I got some of those fleece blankets that said “Meh.” on them. My daughter loved the blanket until she saw the logo. Then she loved it even more!
Bought some last time they were here… They are OK for phones. But the stand is really flimsy, and it can barely hold any weight before falling over. Absolutely does not work with anything larger/heavier like an iPad.

In for 3, I do craft and art shows, and sometimes cheap little stands are just the ticket to get artwork lifted off the table enough to catch someones eye… and invariably, someone just wants to buy the stand to go with it so they don’t have to find their own.
WTH is MEH about to go under? There has been NOTHING to buy for months. WHO is buying all this crap??? How about something useful, solar lights, or better than that MAX lights again!!! I don’t need 10,000 pencils, ugly pearls or 9 cheap ass stands that won’t hold anything up.
@not2bforgotten I feel the opposite. They were on a bit of a run with lots of useful stuff and I was getting worried I was buying too much crap. I was relieved when they started selling ugly necklaces and worthless cell phone holders again. Meh is back!
@not2bforgotten Disagree. I’ve bought a few great things over the past couple of months. My favorite is the monstrous blue tooth, single brew, k-cup, coffee maker. I don’t use the Bluetooth, but the coffee maker is excellent! It was great price for that type of item ($29). I also got the pack of emergency flashlights, which have already come in handy. I have one in each room in case of a power outage.

Bought some last time they were here… They are OK for phones. But the stand is really flimsy, and it can barely hold any weight before falling over. Absolutely does not work with anything larger/heavier like an iPad.

@RiotDemon, Heh, I bought those, too. (They hold an iPad better, but tip too easily to the side, and are angled too vertically for my taste.)
