Yeah - these again! This is what happens when the product you wanted to feature got delayed due to the snow storm And also because we went a little buy-crazy on this pineapple mango flavor (which I quite like even though I don’t normally go for pineapple mango things!) They’re a bit cheaper too… so please buy some. Please?
You obviously have hundreds of these. Why not mail one to everyone that’s ordered something in the last month or so so we can see if we actually like them enough to be stuck with 80?
Not fair! Meh has let their Kind bars age for nearly a year somewhere while those Target bars could be fresh from the factory. At best that’s an apples to pineapples comparison.
I bought a million of the Mixed Berry a few months ago. I enjoyed them for a long time but damn I’m tired of them. During the snow storm I thought to myself hey at least I’ve got the 2 cases of these left as rations if shit hits the fan lol.
I’m curious about how the pineapple one tastes but can’t commit unfortunately
@tysontomko I think I’m done with the peanut butter ones and they were great but I’m on the fence somewhat about buying this given the flavor. I love pineapple, mango not so much. Decisions, decisions. Crazy bc it’s coming from probably 25 miles away,
I got these last time, and my family has destroyed the pineapple mango ones. They’re really good! The chocolate ones are also very good, which I thought would be more popular, but no.
I bought 2 cases last time. Which is a lot. One kid took a couple boxes back to college, and I’ll be sending them with and then to the other kid as he hikes the Appalachian Trail starting in March. And I’ll stick a few boxes in the neighborhood community fridge/pantry. But I have plenty for all that and some for me.
@tet3 That is cool you have a kid hiking the Appalachian Trail. Your kid doing the entire thing or just a section of it? I’ve hiked part of it in my distant, more reckless youth past (and once helped to fight a forest fire in NC where I had hiked some of it). If he is going a long distance maybe set up some UPS or otherwise drops for it along the way where your kid plans to surface for food.
@Kidsandliz He’s going to go from Springer at least as far as Harpers Ferry, WV by early June. Then he’s going to spend the rest of the summer working at the summer camp that taught him about backpacking. In mid-August, he’ll decide whether he wants to go (and has eniough $) to Maine and hike the other half-or-so back.
Bought these a few months back. I don’t eat sweets (or I will want to eat more sweets), but they were cheap (or so it seemed) so I do two things with them:
we stock a “snack box” outside for delivery folks, so one or two at a time go in there
we have a friend who works 6 days a week, like 14 hours a day, so every so often, I visit her and bring a couple (since I make up that she starves herself while at work and maybe they will keep her from dying).
The “snack box” experiment reveals that they’re not terribly popular, as I don’t replace them that often. And, for all I know, my friend throws them into her trash can when I leave.
All of which is to say that I’ve still got a bunch of those and I think my spouse would divorce me if I ordered these pineapple-mango ones. (Although I think she secretly is working her way through the chocolate-chip ones, so maybe I should take a look in the box to make sure we’re not nearly out…)
Got the variety pack of these a few sales ago, and everyone in my house thought the pineapple mango flavor was absolutely disgusting. None of us even finished one - and we all love pineapple and mango. To me it was extremely acidic and “high-pitched” (as my musician brain thinks of very bright flavors) with nothing to balance it out. Obviously other people in the thread really liked them, so I guess you just have to try them.
I have a mental health professional friend who counsels in local schools during school at school. The Meh Kind bars are one of the main things I buy for her. She takes snacks for the students as some of her clients are food insecure. It started on a lark but she says the bars are one of the perennial favorites.
The pineapple mango KIND bar sales will continue until morale improves!
And if they get past their best-by date and morale hasn’t improved, do they end up in the IRKs of a hastily-assembled 'thon full of snake oil, disparaged Meh t-shirts, Hell&Bowell knockoffs of ASOTV stuff, Amazon-ejected vaporbrand gadgets, and the like? (And some of us are sure that you’re still sitting on a pile of TrackRs, yanno.) Or does the remainder get handed to Mythical Kitchen as a challenge to see just what they can make with it? Or does somebody take on the challenge of making a Kind mango pineapple fried rice dish for Uncle Roger to critique? Do they get tested as ice cream topping crumble? Will they be evaluated as a substitute for charcoal in a sacrificial hibachi? Twisted minds want to know!
Not on here. In general. For some reason I keep running into stuff with mango in it. I both hate mango and am allergic to it and it seems like it’s everywhere all of a sudden.
I got some kind Barr a few years ago and they were really good. So I got a second order and they were meh. I ordered a third time and threw them out. I couldn’t eat the bird seed. What flavors were they, I have no idea, sorry, something has changed in ingredients. Not good.
I got these and the chocolate chip ones last time. Upon first taste of the pineapple mango I was like damn, I guess I’ll be throwing these out. I didn’t and ended up trying it again and decided, meh, I’ll keep them. But they’re not great. Very meh. Perfectly meh.
I thought the order was worth the price, but when it arrived, i have noticed that the bars are expiring in March 2026. Secondly, each bar has 14% sugar, which is not a healthy option. Well, it’s not my choice

This Kind of deal has been seen before. It always leads to …
@yakkoTDI Yes, I’m waiting…
You guys sell so much Kind I’m starting to think you actually produce it.
Yeah - these again! This is what happens when the product you wanted to feature got delayed due to the snow storm
And also because we went a little buy-crazy on this pineapple mango flavor (which I quite like even though I don’t normally go for pineapple mango things!) They’re a bit cheaper too… so please buy some. Please?
@troy You could always send these as gifts to the VMPs.
@troy I wondered if it was good bc I don’t typically like mango. I might have to take your word on it since you put it that way.
@troy @yakkoTDI Um no. Not even. Now if you were selling Trader Joe’s pound plus milk chocolate I’d say yes.
You obviously have hundreds of these. Why not mail one to everyone that’s ordered something in the last month or so so we can see if we actually like them enough to be stuck with 80?
/image 80 is a lot

@stinks Oh wait, the local Target has them at FIVE TIMES THE PRICE, but you only have to buy five bars and you can try them immediately.
Then I can make an informed decision.
KIND DROP!!!
/image giant boxes of pasta being airdropped

@stinks I’ll sell you 40 for $20 if you prefer!
@stinks
Not fair! Meh has let their Kind bars age for nearly a year somewhere while those Target bars could be fresh from the factory. At best that’s an apples to pineapples comparison.
@mwarren @stinks I pine for pineapples.
@mwarren @rpstrong @stinks I was fined in appellate.
@stinks Hrmmmm. Maybe they are going after Starlink with microsats.

@mediocrebot When they eventually burn up in the atmosphere, they make is smell like chocolate and nuts and stuff.

I’m curious about how the pineapple one tastes but can’t commit unfortunately
@tysontomko I know how you feel.

@mediocrebot Wow. Now I feel bad. I’m sorry.

I’m not mad I got these last time, but I’d be mad to get them this time.
I got these last time, and my family has destroyed the pineapple mango ones. They’re really good! The chocolate ones are also very good, which I thought would be more popular, but no.
In for another order.
I bought 2 cases last time. Which is a lot. One kid took a couple boxes back to college, and I’ll be sending them with and then to the other kid as he hikes the Appalachian Trail starting in March. @Kidsandliz @tet3 It’s all fun and games until you hit bear country in the Smokys…
@Kidsandliz He’s going to go from Springer at least as far as Harpers Ferry, WV by early June. Then he’s going to spend the rest of the summer working at the summer camp that taught him about backpacking. I like these, but I’m not even close to being out of them. Oh, well.
These are a snack bar of a different Kind.
If you read the ingredients, you’ll have an idea of what to do with your excess birdseed as it nears it’s BBD.

@mediocrebot Almost makes me wish I was a bird. Almost.
@cfg83 @mediocrebot Thanks. IDK why the bot ignored my request.
Probably a cat somewhere that also wishes you were a bird.

You need to come up with one deal a day for 365 days minus IRK… when this is 15 to 25 of those days I guess it makes it a little easier.
hard pass: chicory root fiber (inulin) does not agree with me
Pineappe Mango and no dark chocolate hard pass.

(Well, one specific twisted mind might find such antics entertaining, anyway.)
@werehatrack Ai yah… You call that fried rice?! Malaysian kindergartners can make better fried rice out of their leftovers. Ai yah!
UR
Seriously what is with all the mango lately
Not on here. In general. For some reason I keep running into stuff with mango in it. I both hate mango and am allergic to it and it seems like it’s everywhere all of a sudden.
Frickin’ boo
@zafner The good ole mango, poison ivy, cashew allergy.

my wife and I really like them, but we got a second order from SideDeals recently, so we’re pretty stocked up.

Why NO shipping to Hawaii? Uggg!

where is my cart and it is so hard to purchase with all the other things!!
Do you ever have any other kind on sell

@yashsreenath yeah, all that information was provided before your purchse under the specs above. So…yeah…hope you enjoy them!
