4K Micro 4/3 cam in GoPro format on Kickstarter

I admit I don't follow this forum closely, very much a dilettante in this line of interest, but I thought I'd lob this over -- an interchangeable-lens 4K camera in GoPro form factor's up on Kickstarter. Quick back-of-the-envelope figuring says that the camera and lens in the $800 package come to about 10 ounces, give or take. (If you already have that lens, which looks to be about the smallest and lightest, you can save $200.)

Apologies if this is nowhere near anything that attaches usefully to any flying vehicle. I get the impression folks here are enhancing their various drones, so even if this isn't going to work with off-the-shelf stuff, maybe it's within the range of what some of you are doing -- or at least getting close enough to that weight and form factor that it suggests better things to come.

It looks like the company has a site with somewhat more detail than the Kickstarter page.

Thanks for the heads up! It's probably too heavy for a phantom but perfect for a bigger model. There's a guy around here who films from a custom octocopter that would enjoy knowing about it.

FWIW, here's a Verge article with more detail. Hopefully as long as they're going for the GoPro's form factor, they'll try to come closer to its weight.
