I thought you were going to say that the bottom popped off. I’ve had that happen so many times when I worked at the bar. I always figured it was the type/style of glass it was.
I always hand wash my beer glasses. Once, I accidentally washed my favorite glass in the dishwasher. I had gotten the glass from a local bar in Jerome AZ. while on honeymoon with my wonderful wife. The logo faded off the glass and I was bummed. Never again!

I’d recommend hand washing. Bought these before, two of them have gained a slight 1/2” vertical crack in the middle and unfortunately had to toss them
