@pakopako if it’s going in another bag that doesn’t have a laptop compartment, a sleeve could be just the thing.
I have a laptop that I use for DJ stuff. It lives in the flight case with the controller it runs. I’d put it in a sleeve like this but it is about half an inch too wide to fit by the dimensions listed here. If I find a 17" one this cheap, I’ll snap it up.
@djslack if padding is all you need, why not take two of these, wedge your laptop between them, then fasten the two together with a roll of Velcro? (Similar to using two bowls to hold an apple between them.)
@pakopako I guess that is an option. But I canceled my order because the last 15.6" sleeve I got was just a hair too small and I knew it would likely be the same story with these.
It’s not a critical need, but I was sharing why I would consider a sleeve instead of another type of bag.

Just can’t get rid of these, huh?
Bought them before. They have been really useful. And nice for the price.
@rustyh3 I never understood why anyone would use a sleeve and not a messenger bag (shoulder carry) or folio (easy open).

I’m soundproofing the walls and ceiling of my jam room with these padded bags, they’re a nice blue that matches alot of my guitars.
