Why am I being told im not a vmp member? It wouldn’t let me buy instant regret kit and now it won’t let me buy theses stickers. I was plenty mad to miss out on the instant regret kit, but I wrote that off as server errors. Now I realize I missed out because it legitimately thinks I don’t have vmp. What is going on?
@saintsfan504 You are not a VMP, you are a member. VMP was the old $5/mo program that is no longer available unless you are grandfathered in. The penny difference gives us the privilege of VMP hour pretty much every Meh-rathon.
@saintsfan504 You Can’t become a VMP again. it was discontinued over a year ago.
those of us who still have it, are grandfathered in. But, we have to be sure our CC info is up to date, because if something goes wrong with it,and your card won’t go through, your VMP goes away forever.
then a few months after ending VMP, the started the Member Program, which is similar, but 1 cent cheaper.(Free shipping at the mediocre sites)
Anyone else’s get stuck somewhere? Guess it’s time to report it to cs. Edit: It says they should arrive by the 29th. But they shouldn’t be sitting somewhere for 10 days. Guess I’ll give it a few more days.
@Nate311 I think all the shipping companies have been horrible since Prime Day. I have an order with two sets of Blink cameras from Amazon that hasn’t moved in days. I had another order from there that was marked as delivered and specifically said, “Handed to resident.” This was at about 1:30 in the afternoon when the only two people that live here were both at work. I truly believe these third party delivery companies are ripping everyone off.
@cinoclav You may be right, but I don’t have enough experience to support you. Most of my Amazon stuff is delivered by Amazon drivers. Except for Meh, even my smartpost orders go through UPS or FedEx. I can tell you that I recently got a parcel from Singapore Post that sat in Jamaica, NY for sixteen days without moving. I blamed Customs Enforcement, but it came still sealed.
@cinoclav Mine stalled out a week ago, was thinking about putting in a support ticket for it but then saw the expected delivery window goes to the 29th. I guess I’ll wait the rest of this week and see if it starts moving again.
@Nate311 The problem I’m seeing is that the ‘Amazon drivers’ are not all Amazon employees. I see quite a few generic vehicles that belong to companies that apparently contract with Amazon to make deliveries. It’s the only way they’re able to fulfill a lot of the same and one day orders. It would be really easy for some of these drivers to steal packages and mark them as delivered without customers having any proof. Hell, if my damn cameras had arrived they would have been set up and I could have seen how my delivery was handed to a spirit resident.
@earlyre Cool! Of course to be fair you probably need to tell support to find out if they will credit your account postage to send them back (I’d guess since they are cheap though they’d just tell you to keep them).
