Alright, let’s look at the timeline here:

About two years ago this thing launched on Amazon at a whopping $699.99. That’s a doozy, especially considering that, by 2023, robot vacuums were plenty ubiquitous, and thus, not a novelty. Sure, this one not only vacuums, mops, washes, and dries your floors but also auto-cleans and auto-empties itself, which is rad, but still. That’s most of the way to a grand!

Six months ago the price started to drop and fluctuate, going as high as $469.99 and as low as the mid-200s.

On July 8th, Prime Day (or, as it’s known in Italy, Primo Giorno), Amazon dropped the price all the way down to $199.99.

And this, apparently, was enough for Cnet to write about it:

Amazon has dropped the price of this all-in-one vacuum and mop by nearly $150, and we’re not sure how long this deal will last. What’s useful about the Yeedi Cube is its auto-emptying ability that lasts for 60 days alongside its self-washing and self-drying capabilities, so you don’t even need to touch it for months.

Sounds great, right?

Which is why, today, we’re doing just what Amazon did. They sold out, but we’ve got you covered with this nicer “S1” bundle that comes in black and a bunch of extra mop pads and dust bags.

And it’s the exact right time to buy it, too.

Because, as the seasons change, you track more stuff inside, and so do all your guests, which might be plentiful if you’re hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas this year.

What’s more, you spend more time inside in the winter, which means, when your house is a disaster area, it’s not something you see for a couple hours at the end of a day spent throwing frisbee and drinking cocktails on a patio. It’s what you’re staring at all day. And yes, this means you actually have more time to clean than in other seasons, potentially. But that doesn’t mean you want to.

And again, because it can clean and empty itself, this is perhaps the most hands-off robot vacuum on the market. Thus, it can free you up to do something more fun than scrub the floors. You know, like seeing if you can cure seasonal affective disorder with carbohydrates.
