“Like, me and Tooley are okay now,” Bushy said. “But just a minute ago we had a run-in with one of your prized specimens.”
“Specimens?” Uncle Victor said. “A run-in?”
Bushy stood up. “Yeah, the one that’s about yay-big, can run on two feet, has a knife, and hunts… people!”
“Are you saying–” Anton said.
Tooley barked in a way that sounded like he was saying, “That’s right, we’ve been pursued by the pumpkin man of legend, first spoken of by the young woman who works at the farm stand.”
