Two Pieces

Okay, so we’ve got some snack bars. Or “energy bars,” as they call themselves. They’re vegan, gluten-free, raw, and packed with non-GMO ingredients like organic dates, MCT oil, and monk fruit for sweetness. We say these last two things with no judgment in either direction. In our time selling stuff like this, we’ve learned that there are things that sit well with some but not others.

Each “bar” is actually two chunks, so you can eat half and save some for later, or share. (If you want.) And you can choose between Cinna Cherry or Choco Chip flavors.

Now, obviously, the big question is, how do they taste?

To answer this, we have only three sources:

SOURCE 1 - The company itself, which describes the bar as “delicious AF (And Fun!).” That parenthetical induced a big groan from us. Plus, not exactly an unbiased source. So let’s move on to…

SOURCE 2 - A single review over on Target.com that reads, “Delicious combination of flavors in a satisfyingly chewy texture. Great for on-the-go snacking or as a sweet treat. Highly recommend!” That all sounds pretty good, but again, with just one anonymous review (the user is listed as “CD”), we’re a little dubious. Luckily, there’s…

SOURCE 3 - Our man @troy himself, who assures us that the “product has been taste-tested for quality” and that he thinks, “they’re great!” (Interesting that a sample didn’t make it to the members of the copy department. You know, the people who actually describe the products. We’re sure it was just an oversight and we expect it won’t happen again, @troy.)

So there you have it, three sources that confirm these are good. But even if you don’t believe them, seriously, how bad would these things need to be for you to really regret buying them? It’s a 24-pack for $18. If they just tasted totally fine, that would be… well… totally fine.

Or, let’s try this: why don’t you sign up to be additional sources? Just buy these bars and then post your reviews in the comments.
