Good, Clean Fun: a Meh-rathon

The plot holds up wonderfully, providing some of Alicia Prescott’s best twists in years. But while the reader cannot begrudge the author for augmenting her salary with a bit of product placement, by the tenth time Ms. Theroux (or some other character) says, “As beautiful as a Beauty Threadz,” it grows tiresome.
