The Whodunnit Gang and Jack the Pumpkin Man: a Meh-rathon
Jack pursued the two of them down the hall but lost track of them, stopping at a stretch where, for some reason, there were two jack-o’-lanterns.
Jack looked one way, then the other, before taking off the way he’d been going.
“Jack carve!” he called, continuing his pursuit.
Bushy and Tooley’s heads popped up from inside the pumpkins, the jack-o’-lantern top and stem sitting on them like hats. Their legs popped out from unseen holes, and they ran in the opposite direction.
