The Whodunnit Gang and Jack the Pumpkin Man: a Meh-rathon
“We’ve been on to Anton for years, but could never make a breakthrough in our case against him,” said the farm stand girl who was actually an undercover FBI agent. “But now, thanks to you kids, we’ve got enough to put him away for a good long time.”
Which was totally true. Despite much of the work of the case having been done by a group of scruffy teens in a spray-painted station wagon, all of this was entirely admissible in court.
“Anything you want to say for yourself?” the Sheriff said, prodding Anton.
“Yeah, there is,” Anton snarled. “I had a perfect plan going, and I would’ve gotten away with it, if it weren’t for these interfering youths.”
