Trying these purely because they’re so cheap. About 50 cents/bar whereas they’re 2.25/bar on A-zon.

Just received a box of these and they don’t taste right. Kinda stale and very chalky with a weird and unpleasant aftertaste. Tried the same flavor last summer from REI while hiking, and they were pretty good; not amazing but I don’t remember them tasting so funny. Best by date is still about a month off.

So I’m not sure if they changed the formula up or something, or it’s a bad box, or it’s just me. But I won’t be eating any more of these.

Wow, these things taste “off”. It’s like a combination of coffee, chocolate, nuts, and spoiled milk. Not good.
