@PooltoyWolf It’s kind of funny, really; for 50+ years, I didn’t wear jeans because they were all cut wrong for me. Then, a good decade before I got out of denial, I discovered that the inexpensive Gloria Vanderbilt jeans from Costco fit me really well, and I’ve worn them a lot ever since. Of course, I have to order them from the website to get the Tall sizes. The 31" inseam they carry in the stores is just too short.
@PooltoyWolf@werehatrack Actually I find some of them (Gloria Vanderbilt - I get them at Kohls but have to order too as I also wear tall but I only buy when there is a sale and I have a coupon too) pretty comfortable before they stretch out although crappy quality for jean life. I HATE HATE HATE the stretch aspect of most women’s jeans these days. Plus they wear out pretty quickly too which I also hate. I prefer my older Levi jeans that the jean material is real jean material and lasts almost forever. I haven’t found anything I can afford that is made of real jean material, not stretch, and the sizing is consistent across “models” (G.V. ones are not) so I can order them without trying them on first even if I am trying on the medium length and have to order tall.
I’ve got to go with boot cut. Because boots. Growing up, I never thought I’d be a cowboy boot guy. But damn if I don’t wear them eight days a week. Can’t believe how comfortable they are.
Knife!!

In all honesty I don’t wear them. So the best kind of jeans is no jeans at all.
@Cerridwyn TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!
@yakkoTDI pics or it didn’t happen
When they have holes for your feet and upper body to come out of. Otherwise you’d be trapped inside forever.
Whatever kind makes you happy.
/showme jeans that are topologically equivalent to a spherical surface
@mediocrebot well, not what I was thinking of, but those look interesting
Daisy Dukes
/showme a denim sphere with a person trapped inside
@mediocrebot There is a hole, I wanted no holes. The person can escape.
This Jean is cut pretty nicely:

Bell bottoms, but just not the bottoms. Is that extra relaxed, or just chunky?

Not jeans, to be honest. They’re never comfortable on me and I don’t look good in them!
@PooltoyWolf I hate jeans

I prefer dresses
@kittykat9180 With pockets.
If you’re not wearing boots, why are you wearing jeans?
@blaineg Durable, practical, and comfortable if you can find ones that fit as long as they don’t feel like armor.
@blaineg @werehatrack I’m a big fan of Ariat jeans (and boots). They aren’t cheap, but also not stupid expensive. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=ariat+jeans
I find it best to just take them off at the knees with my chainsaw.

I don’t wear jeans anymore. I used to wear them when I was younger but now I don’t like them.
Best jeans - fancy ones.
Gloria Vanderbilt & Bandolino.
