I was going to vote for the spooky stories option, but the typo was so loud I just couldn’t do it.
I did the Bloody Mary thing ~25 years ago in a middle school bathroom with the lights off and scared myself half to death. Never again! I don’t care how much cred it got me.
Light as a feather.
Stiff as a board.

Hey! The pizza is here!
Yeah, it worked about as well a summoning Blood Mary.
(Of course, weird me who had the benefit of a grandmother who exposed me to Rodgers & Hammerstein broadway musicals when I was very young was really confused at my first sleepover why in the heck we’d want to summon Bloody Mary from South Pacific when we played the Bloody Mary game.)
@tinamarie1974 I DO believe in spooks! I do, I do, I DO believe in spooks!
Thank goodness for magic blankets. I don’t think I could’ve survived my childhood over-active imagination without them.
It’s funny now to think of how scared we were to do it too. I don’t know why we always thought it was going to work even after the umpteenth time of it not working.
@christinerenee i think we always chickened out before it “worked” - this was our thinking anyway. we’d all be squealing and rushing out of the bathroom, high on adrenaline and candy. good times!
@cinoclav You’d think a grown man would know grape jam spreads much more easily with a butter knife or the back of a spoon. Using a hook on jam is like eating broth with a fork.

@LaVikinga hey we lifted people with light as a feather. Of course there were like 20 of us crowded around a 30 pound kid lol
@LaVikinga oh we did that too and seances as well. As one of the older cousins I would occasionally sneak out and knock on walls. Freak them all out.

@LaVikinga hehe. I do too. I have actually paid to stay at a haunted house overnight. I didn’t see any paranormal activity though
Every single slumber party of my childhood.

@jerk_nugget I think that was our logic too.
My cousins and I when we were kids!
Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice
Hmmm… wouldn’t it be cool to program your smart mirror to respond to the Beetlejuice/Candyman/Bloody Mary thing?
Maybe throw Slender man in there.
let me google that for everyone like me who only vaguely remembers it: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloody_Mary_(folklore)
By the way, I am almost, but not quite, drunk enough to try this.
/giphy almost drunk enough
@UncleVinny She was so great in that role!
wait, what? I thought this was asking if I ordered a Bloody Mary the day after a night of heavy drinking…which is yes.
No, I’m not 12 anymore.
Is this some sort of mean Joke?
(P.S. What do you do to ‘summon’ the ghost?)
Grundleman.
Grundleman.
Grundleman.

Etc. Etc.
You kids and your circa 1970 folklore.
Let’s all call Candyman!

@cinoclav You know, he can make the World taste good.
I’m not sure how that works.
.
Naw, I just order Beetle Juice at the juice bar as a prank.
