I drink coffee, because I like coffee. I frequently make/pick up coffee an hour before bed. I find it normally has no effect on my sleep, but maybe that’s because I only sleep for like 4 hours a day.
My cutoff point for caffeine is 3pm. I drink hot tea, water, and sugar free caffeine free soda. If I do end up consuming caffeine in the evening it doesn’t seem to bother me, but I frequently have trouble sleeping so I don’t court trouble.
I keep putting in requests at the local theaters for a caffeine free diet soda option. They each carry a half dozen corn syrup sodas and diet Coke. I keep telling them that they are losing evening concession sales, not just on soda but other concessions, as who’s going to buy popcorn, nachos or hot dogs with no drink?
