I’m an anxious person in general, but if I’m especially stressed out, I’ll listen to one of the cats purr for a while. Otherwise, I’ll just listen to whatever music I’m in the mood for, same as usual.
if i’m in the car, i’ll put on npr and hope it’s something like the moth or this american life or some other good story. occupies my brain and makes me feel less alone. if i’m at home i’m gonna choose to watch something over listening to anything. preferably something i’ve seen many times before.
