My favorite, you can’t order at any restaurant I’ve seen.
Those fresh huge Alaskan Scallops that I buy very occasionally at Pike Place market (I prefer Pure Food market, they do not throw any fish, don’t ask the price, just buy them). Those things are as big as a hockey puck…
Seared quickly in a pan of butter for just a few minutes.
Yum. Seafood heaven.
I also like most all seafood, though… (nothing with tentacles)
I usually roll my eyes at the people who ask “Where is the ‘I hate (blank)’ option?”. But for some reason, I feel very petty that my “Something Else” (love all shellfish, but my favorites are shrimp and scallop) are being counted in the same bucket as “I hate shellfish”.
