@chienfou, if you haven’t actually gone in one of those places and had a proper fresh stroopwafel hot off the grill, then you must turn around and go back to get one (or a few - I won’t judge)!
@Kyeh@shahnm definitely have to try both, ideally from an outdoor street market. Smaller towns have the markets too, often just 1 day/week. Had these in Dordrecht, a medium size historic town about 1 hour South, where my brother-in-law lives. Also probably don’t do the haaring and Stroopwafel at the same time; the flavors of each are great and unique, but not together.
Now we have to open our own “stroopperie.”
@ExtraMedium But your window sign will have to be a little different, like maybe

I recommend the fresh herring that they sell in the street stalls, with dark rye bread.

@pmarin @shahnm Herring first, stroopwafel for dessert.
Could sell this on casemates!
@chienfou I’d seriously consider buying that!
@Kyeh
Didn’t want to tote it around all day so passed for now.
@chienfou Oh, I was hoping Casemates might try selling it.
@chienfou @Kyeh I would absolutely try!
