2Freund!
Man is the most cruel animal”. Das ist eine Gedanken sehr Tief und Ernst, nicht?
Naja, wir haben jetzt noch mehr geheimnis Wörter: “Bei Trauerspielen, Stierkämpfen und Kreuzigungen ist es ihm bisher am wohlsten geworden auf Erden; und als er sich die Hölle erfand, siehe, da war das sein Himmel auf Erden.”, welche bedeutet: “In the case of mourning, bullfights, and crucifixions, he has so far been most comfortable on earth; And when he invented hell, behold, that was his heaven on earth.”
Also, Freund! Hoffentlich findst du dieser Werkzeug interessant, und kann mit er viele Leute verstehen. Aber ich du frage… du sollst meistens aus dem Kopf errinernst dich über was ist gesprachen. Und wann ein Wort ist ganz verloren, dann kannst du er lesen auf Google!
Das tut mir Leid, natürlich, dass ich so viele kranken Wörter hier hat geschreibt. Tschuss!

My Grandad was half German and half Comanche. I learned some very interesting German from him. My high school and college German teachers tried to break me of my scrambled German. They did a very good job. I can no longer read or speak German of any kind.
Mijn Nederlands is beter dan mijn Duits. Ik spreek Duits met een Hollands tintje.
Mein Holländer ist besser als mein Deutscher. Ich spreche Deutsch mit einem Niederländischen akzent.
I have lived and worked in both Holland and Germany. I was accused of speaking German with a Dutch accent (learned dutch first) and found that I mingled both languages once I started learning German. I wouldn’t be able to think of the german word and the dutch word would come flying out of my mouth even though it had been 8 years since I had lived in the Netherlands and had you asked me the word I would have told you I had no clue.
@Kidsandliz the beautiful thing about Dutch is that it is very similar to German so I was able to parse out what you were saying before getting to the German portion.
@jbartus I found that learning those languages totally trashed 4 years of spanish I took in school. Gone. Just plain gone. Then learning german after dutch trashed my dutch and my german was a mishmash of both languages. Later I learned some Cambodian, but not enough to think in it which is probably why I didn’t ruin my previously learned languages.
@Kidsandliz Weltrusten.
@jbartus try this:
Khmer robsakhnhom ku minol.
I had to cheat to get the non-roman characters though as I never learned them.
កម្ពុជារបស់ខ្ញុំគឺមិនល្អ
Khmer (Cambodian) is transliterated using the French pronunciation which makes it even harder. I can count to 20, have a vocabulary of several hundred words and that is it.
@Kidsandliz Cambodian! Wow, that’s pretty rare. I went out on a blind date with a young woman from Cambodia once, and I realized that I never even knew Khmer was a language, let alone anything about it.
@UncleVinny I have a kid from there adopted as an almost 10 year old. Plus I have an NGO there. Learned some to survive, but I am not good in languages and Khmer is HARD! compared to the other languages.
Ich habe drei jahre auf deutsch im schule, aber mein deutsch ist scheiße. Neun und Neunzig luftballons, alles klar herr kommissar?

Took four years of Spanish in school, starting at age 10. As an adult, I took a job in Italy. Spanish was helpful in that I knew there were tenses, cases and pronouns, but had to start from scratch with Italian, because spelling is deceptive. After a year I went on a work assignment to Spain, with some Italians. Brain scrambled. I couldn’t get along in either language, which was unfortunate as the Italians depended on me to translate. Sentences routinely morphed into a trilingual mess. On later trips to Spain, after about two days, the brain would shift gears and I could manage simple conversations, and even think in Spanish.
