@makhay Pretty sure the one they’re selling here doesn’t come with the stand or the bottom carafe. I assume the idea is that you make one cup at a time and just put it on top of your mug to dispense into when the timer runs out.
@makhay@mml666 The full set pictured in the parent comment has two carafes. I’m saying that the one being sold right now on Meh doesn’t come with the bottom one or the stand.
@t0nyc0tt4m Came here to say this. Somehow I think this thing would drain those batteries with every pot brewed.
Edit: In the video (from the MorningSave page, thanks @makhay below) it shows the guy pouring hot water in, so the batteries must just be for the timer.
Very tempting, but I already have too many gadgets in my kitchen. Any time I am serious about steeping time, I set a timer and don’t leave the kitchen.
I’m guessing these don’t actually heat up the water, given that they run on 3x AAA batteries.
These are not Kathy Ireland sheets.
Via morningsave…
While I like the idea - that glass looks like it will keep the coffee hot for 2 minutes.

@The_Tim yeah, you are right - also this guy paid $100 for it 2 years ago.

“What’s in the Box?” states “glass carafe with lid”, but no stand.

Here’s the “what’s in the box” for the “complete set” on MorningSave:
It’s the “underneath glass carafe” and the stand that don’t come in this Meh deal.

Reluctant pass.
@mml666 I love mine and I use it daily.
@cansparkle @mml666 Is there a trick to getting the filter to not allow a small amount of coffee grinds into the brew?
Works fine until you drop the thin glass jar on a sharp metal corner and it shatters.
Anybody know where to get replacement parts?
