Valentines Day Plans
8So... Ready it's been 2 Valentines days with Raylan. I'm going to share my Romantic Plans... Then I'm wondering what you guys are going to do....
So, My MIL is going to watch the BABY... But only an afternoon, not a long time... so Dinner/Lunch will probably be at a quicker food joint.... Hopefully not Dollar Menu At MCd's... I'm aiming classy... like Subway ;) Maybe even Chipolte if we're lucky... But then we are going to the all time BEST most romantic valentines day movie EVER... Deadpool! I love my wife ;)

Remember, if you are dumb enough to go to a restaurant expect shitty service, long waits, and crabby servers. At higher end places these things shouldn't be so bad.
@Teripie I've been there. We ended up eating kebab on the street which was way delicious than what we ordered at the restaurant.
@Teripie Working as a cook in high school and college, ive found valentines day to be one of the easiest to work. The reason being it was all tables of two.
Once the restaurant fills up, it was actually a rather slow day. Never a rush since there were no large groups all putting order in at the same time.
However we were busy later into the night due to the amount of couples going out.
Servers didnt like it as much because they made less since they didnt get the large groups. Also people tend to go to one level up of restaunt then they normally do, so they may be a little tighter with thr tip. So I suppose that could lead to the poorer service.
Going here Saturday. Can't wait to try it.

We are going to Lakewood Brewing for a special keep-the-glass release of Raspberry Temptress and then we are going to see Deadpool at Alamo Drafthouse. I'm sure we will watch The Walking Dead that night too. I'm glad my husband is as nerdy as I am :)

@sammydog01 You laugh... but every year my job gives me 2 tickets to the movies... we're using them for valentines day... (some may think that's cheap, I say frugal... there's a 2nd reason why I didn't get a fuku last round) :'(

@jaremelz good point. we'd probably have to get there insanely early. which, based on the boy's normal sunday sleeping schedule, isn't going to happen. one of these weekends though!

@connorbush different brewery. Ours was a pairing of local chocolates and local beer.
@sohmageek yum. I thought as much, but then I felt like being a punk. Ours is having the same thing. A local truffle maker made an assortment of chocolate to go along with the beer. He even used some beers in the chocolates. The brew-master and chocolatier will be walking us through the flight! I am sorry you missed yours :-(
I'll be yelling at some highschooler to quit crashing our robot into the walls and to hurry up and get better at driving it...
Wifey and I always go to the same restaurant for V-Day. Incredible seafood (Trulucks La Jolla) and the service is awesome. They also call before hand to welcome you (and confirm your reservation) and call you after to make sure the experience met or exceeded your expectations. I've never had a bad experience there.
Also, carrot cake the size of your head. So... yum!

I'm going to share my Meh Valentine candy with my husband. Other than that, not a damned thing. Just like every other card holiday on the calendar.
Only Valentine I've gotten in the past twenty-five or so years came from Meh. You know, the ones that say Valentine's sucks.

I dont have one of those valentine's people to buy things for....so I'm hoping meh will have something nice for me to buy for myself. also seeing deadpool in imax saturday night
When coworkers said they're seeing deadpool this weekend, my first thought was Dirty Harry. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Valentines Day Plans
1) laundry
2) looking at random videos on web, mostly cute pups and baby animals.
3) stouffers attempt at a gourmet meal for one
4) check Meh.com before going to sleep.

@Pony I was able to convince hubby to take me to Deadpool on Sunday also! 8:30 showing but it was the only time that had tickets. It's OK though as I have Monday off.
I think that after I spend Friday late afternoon thru Sunday early afternoon at a boy scout national youth leadership training staff training weekend, I will come home, take a nap and we will watch the Walking Dead together. He is going to see Deadpool while I'm busy. (Service dog doesn't like really loud unidentified noise)
This is what you can expect after 32 years together. Just another day.
Not a damn thing. We don't bother with it, except I always get the kids a balloon and candy.
They each get their own balloon, I'm no animal!
Oh and Deadpool was AWESOME! There are certainly some very romantic scenes, I highly recommend it for date night.
Much like every other day when the old man is on the road, I'm gonna put the child to bed, open a bottle of wine and rub one out. Then call it day.
