Unsolicited advice for decorating Snapster's new HQ

Snapster needs (he just doesn’t know it yet) unsolicited advice for how to save his new HQ from being decorated in (to use his words) the following style:

dirty sofa in a concrete warehouse

On this thread here Snapster mentioned that they have taken down all the kickstarter nicknacks/decorations (so sad for the things so many of you so thoughtfully sent that were then unceremoniously dumped - seriously they could have sent the stuff out in fuko’s where they would be treasured forever or until the mehrican exchange). In his somewhat idealistic dreams he is hoping for:

“conventionally progressive”…“tech but with post-industrial texture and even warmth”

Considering that this is the octopus who has redefined what is “meh” to things 3 stars or preferably lower, previously decorated with random items that had, um, “character” (although one might need to redefine that word a bit) sent to him by kickstarter backers (using gift cards he sent them for this purpose - sorry I can’t find that thread), I thought we could try to save him from himself by offering up unsolicited ideas for how to decorate a cement warehouse in a manner suitable to the style in which he would like to become accustom (or that you think he deserves, whatever suits your fancy).
