I have a large drawer so full of socks like this from these deals that I will probably never actually wear over half of them, and many of the ones I do get around to wearing will have elderly elastic that disintegrates upon stretching. And yet… I bought a set.
@rpstrong Hi – Thank you for the tip! I tested it on the sale, and it does work, so I must be “in the system”. I’m just not buying socks.
Do you know if that same code is good for up to 3 uses (If I recall, we were supposed to get 3 x $10 coupons)? Or would it be three different codes? I checked my Spam folder & searched thru my other meh-mails, but didn’t find any communiqué with backer codes (except for the OctoShirt).
@sammydog01@Coldrice not the last in the slideshow. i know that’s usually babyarm and glen episode screenshots. I mean the extra link in the Product Specs post that’s not in the slideshow.
@mikey OH! I didn’t notice that! Wow, that is weird. I looked at a few past deals and didn’t see a random extra image, so maybe they just do it once in a while.
“Darn it”. I love unsimply stitched socks. Great quality and designs and very comfortable.
I.had been waiting for this deal for a.long time but had finally given up on Meh and got a whole bunch of socks from elsewhere. If this deal had come in December I’d “bee” all over the bee ones. Had yellow socks and one with pink on them. Those are two colours I had been missing to be able to pair socks to my shirts each day.
It’s annoying that every set has one or two designs I REALLY like, but also one or two pairs I would never ever wear.
Does anyone want to do a sock exchange? Does anyone really want the socks with bright colors and ugly patterns, and not want the socks with subdued colors or fun creatures?
@Coldrice Oh sure. I have a hard time finding bright/ugly enough. I’m either going to go with a conventional, solid sock and match it to the shade of my pants perfectly… or I want, like, construction orange. (As a classical violinist, my favorite is when the gig says “black with a red accent,” to show up in a black suit with red socks.)
I wish these could be offered in smaller and larger sizes. I would wear the hell out of them, and I bet my boringly poloed husband would give some of them a chance.
Meh has calculated that I have a 0% altruism score, for failure to “like” comments, sorta on the order of ugh Facebook. But evolutionary theory proves that altruism is a bad idea.
@Seeds Whoa, kinship selection ain’t altruism: you will die for two kids, four grandkids, 8 great grand kids etc. Your gene might live on. Altruists die standing on the front line, and never have any kids.
@briangratton10 Unless you’re part of a smaller group where most people are at least somewhat related and having a couple people willing to sacrifice themselves for the group means it can out compete other groups.
80% Cotton/0% Polyester = socks that don’t make your feet sweat. Good—but still regular—socks are SO hard to come by. I’m not climbing Mt. Everest or fly fishing or even shoveling the sidewalk. Just need some regular ol’ cushioned, crew length cotton, athletic socks that aren’t white. You can miss me with the merino wool price tag.
I’d buy three except that I really don’t wanna spend $30 on socks, even if it does boil down to $3.33 per pair.
Three packs of socks are like 3 packs of underwear. There will be one great pattern in the pack, and the other two always seem to be meh.
@wew fun fact. When I was in college, I used to mark my underwear so no one would steal them.
yellow in the front and brown in the back.

@shahnm A problem I would LOVE to have, my friend. Still on the hunt for the perfect sock. I mean, really…can you have too many?
I’m slowly recreating my sock drawer from the bottom up.
I’ll be darned if today’s write-up isn’t too on the nose.
“you can never have to many socks.”
–The guy who has waaaaay too many socks.
Hmmm…Got casemates coupons burning a hole in my pocket.
Got socks WITH holes.
Decisions decisions.
@bdp Do it! They got Casemates (octopus) socks available.
@bdp
Well how would you wear socks if they did not have at least one hole?
I’ve realized I haven’t received my CM backer coupons… perhaps I should reach out to Support.
@SColburn Try using coupon code VMPBRIBE. It should work if the coupon was issued to you but lost in a spam folder or something.

@SColburn That code should be good for 3 uses on your account.
@Skitals @scolburn Yes, three times - I used mine up on the Riesling).
Just used my first Casemates coupon code for some cubes!
This deal socks
@gwaki but i did buy them anyway.
I like these socks, but I’ve bought a bunch from you already, Meh. So no go for me. But I encourage others to partake.
/giphy partake socks
I’ll leave that giphy up for the ladies…
Wife only wants the roosters, bees and octopodes. No sale.
I would be willing to pay double aka $6/pair if we could do our own mix and match.
I love these.
i need nice thick socks not these thin and wimpy things
What the hell? Did I just buy socks?
Every pack has 1 good pattern and 2 terrible ones. $10 for 1 pair of socks I’ll wear? You won’t fool me again meh!!!
Do the product specs always have an extra random gif in them? I feel like I’ve been missing out, if so.
@mikey Well, it’s not always a gif. The last picture in the product slideshow always a silly image.
@mikey Yes! Always flip through all the photos. That’s my favorite part of the sale.
@sammydog01 @Coldrice not the last in the slideshow. i know that’s usually babyarm and glen episode screenshots. I mean the extra link in the Product Specs post that’s not in the slideshow.
I also now really want to watch a series called Babyarm and Glen.
@mikey OH! I didn’t notice that! Wow, that is weird. I looked at a few past deals and didn’t see a random extra image, so maybe they just do it once in a while.
@Coldrice I did the same thing. I’ll watch for it in the future.
Sock it to me!
/giphy fittest-candid-healer
I, too, will pass on these socks since I am happy with past socks I’ve purchased from Meh.
Although I would be open to a similar sale with boxers.
@JT954 You summed up my feelings well. I have like 15 of these socks, I don’t need more.
Uh, men’s shoe size 8 != women’s shoe size 8
In for three…
/giphy quiet-loved-truck
Kevin can wait. Meh
YES
Have them on right now. I’ll let you know when I grow a couple more feet.
/giphy relevant-temperate-nation
/giphy sleazy-taunting-egg
Can I use these to warm my Banana?
Every paid of socks I’ve gotten from meh got holes very quickly.
So we get like 43% phone, 7% tablet, for visitors. Does the other half use a megaphone?
@briangratton10 Computer?
In for 3… #IDontHaveAProblemYouHaveAProblem (i have a lot of socks)
/giphy picky-innate-lift
In for the rooster pattern–cause, you know, it’s… Cocks on Socks. Also in for the Octopodes because they’re awesome.
/giphy haphazard-gratifying-hammer
For next year: socks make great stocking stuffers.

Never had holes in these. They’re comfy and awesome. In for another 9 pairs MMMEEEHHH.
/giphy totally-obtuse-pot
When are you going to offer cool socks like this in a Man’s size? Seriously, am I just that odd…***DON’T ANSWER THAT***that I have size 15 feet?
It’s annoying that every set has one or two designs I REALLY like, but also one or two pairs I would never ever wear.

Eh my brother in law is starting an internship this summer and loves pandas, so why not get him so panda dress socks.

I wish these could be offered in smaller and larger sizes. I would wear the hell out of them, and I bet my boringly poloed husband would give some of them a chance.
@whogots if it helps, I wear size 14 men’s and they fit alright. I am pretty thin though, so if he has thicker feet, they might be a little tight.
Meh has calculated that I have a 0% altruism score, for failure to “like” comments, sorta on the order of ugh Facebook. But evolutionary theory proves that altruism is a bad idea.
@briangratton10
No, that’s not what evolution has to say about altruism. It helps related individuals survive and increases stability in populations.
@Seeds Whoa, kinship selection ain’t altruism: you will die for two kids, four grandkids, 8 great grand kids etc. Your gene might live on. Altruists die standing on the front line, and never have any kids.

Octopodes, huh?

Are these considered dress or atheletic?
Why, Yes I would consider wearing that.
Please sell socks that aren’t so small!
Honestly wish I had bought more than one set now. These are good socks and fit me, I am a size 12 and always have issues.
