The “end” of the workday has become elusive. Instead of clocking out at 6:00 and putzing until midnight, I sleep in a bit and putz in the middle of the day. Then realize I haven’t gotten enough work done yet. Then I work until midnight when I check Meh and that strong, familiar surge of disappointment sends me packing to sleep.
@duodec The worst error code I have ever received from a Microsoft product has been, “One or more errors occured.”
No additional details on which ones or how to debug.

One downside (among a few) for working at home is that my work laptop stays in a docking station all the time. This increases the temptation to jump on it and get some work done outside business hours. Normally when toting my laptop to and from work every day, I don’t have this temptation. I am not super productive without a full-size keyboard and monitor, so I am more inclined to just wait until the morning when I am in the office.
Mostly, get dinner together, then eat dinner with the wife while watching something on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+. Then fool around on the phone/Nintendo until going to sleep.

Where is Stay inside and have a drink (of some kind of booze)?
And then another one
And then another
And then
@phendrick I came here to say this.
What is this thing called “work from home”? I’ve been working from/at work all along. #EssentialWorker
Don’t. Work never ends because we’re on call and salaried and have to support microsoft products (the ever-breaking).

@niisyth If it said microsoft anywhere on the screen then it was telling you everything you need to know.
There is an end to the workday?
I take the dog for a long walk.
@kittykat9180 I do that most days over lunch break. We both enjoy it!
@kittykat9180 I miss walking my dogs; the angels do that for me now…
By trying to remember this is only temporary.
Open different windows on my laptop.
Eat dinner and settle in for relaxing TV time with my wife.

Nap.
Work, I don’t work.
I can’t answer because I am RETIRED,-but I still have plenty of things I need to do. I’m now going to swap out an electrical outlet.
Right now, we go to Hulu and watch Justified for the third or fourth time.
But we’ve been working from home for over eight years, since he started up the new bidness.
@lisaviolet that show deserves a rewatch from me.

There’s an end?
Depressing slump into bed. Like scraping a failed attempt at fried eggs into a trashcan.
I get out each of my fidget spinners and spin them each once. Then I go to bed at 3am when I’m done bonding with them.
Mostly, get dinner together, then eat dinner with the wife while watching something on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+. Then fool around on the phone/Nintendo until going to sleep.
I still start pretty early, so I knock off around 4PM. Then comes the afternoon/pre-dinner snack and some outside time.
I usually flop onto the couch and stare at my phone for a while
By starting my work night.
Put on pants.
I usually do several of those things with the wife and kids.
