If a plane drops its load of “blue ice” on my house and kills me in the next few hours, my ghost will appear as a frumpy old lady in tattered blue jeans, a plaid flannel shirt with a button missing, and flowered socks with Birkies. None of the colors or patterns match. I will happily come back and haunt the dreams of the fashion-obsessed.
@kittykat9180 Always. They keep me from slipping on a slick hardwood floor and protect my feet from the cold ceramic tiles (and anything fragile that might fall on them) in my kitchen, because I would prefer to delay my ghosthood for a while. When I go outside, I switch to my “outdoor” shoes.
@Targaryen@ThomasF I don’t see a problem with that. It lets people know what your hobbies are and maybe someone will strike up a convo with you, if you want it.
That’s why I love band t-shirts for my favorites. I no longer have any friends that listen to those bands, so if someone comments, maybe we have other things in common.
