@RiotDemon - They both got off to a good start, imho. The original lost a lot of points with me for having Dirk Benedict in the cast, but gained a lot for Maren Jensen. I kind of lost interest in the remake, but ya gotta say, they never landed on a disco planet or a cowboy planet, or had a cute kid with a robot dog!

Does anyone remember Time Tunnel? It was on air in 1966-1967 and starred Lee Meriwether as Dr. Ann McGregor, a kick-ass electro-biologist. I wanted to be her.

@craigthom YES! I lived in the middle of nowhere when that was on and had my dad tape it and send it to me. Now I own the dvd set. Confession time- Bruce Campbell appeared at a local mall to promote it and I stood in line with 1000 children to get his autograph.
@sammydog01 I tuned in to Hulu to take The Time Tunnel for a spin tonight. What a hoot! I’m loving the simplistic sets, and portrayal of futuristic tech. Most especially the massive overacting which was prevalent in ‘60s television.
Despite my declaration of “simplistic sets” when one considers there was no CGI then, and everything had to be built from scratch, the budget and manpower required for those sets is awe inspiring.
Great fun, and a welcomed break from the television products of our current era. Thank you for turning me onto this series!

I’m too young to recognize these people. Looking at the lineup, maybe 4 names looked familiar, but I couldn’t tell you who they really are.
I loved skating in the 90s. I still have a pair of skates. I put them on once in the last few years and promptly took them back off.
I went skating about 5 years ago and made it around the rink once. It took me forever and I felt like I was gonna die.

@aetris It was on Friday nights against the Wild, Wild West, Hogan’s Heroes, Tarzan, and the Man from UNCLE. So I can see how you may have missed it.

My kids watched part of one of the old episodes and quit but I thought it was kind of fun.

I’m not one to remember most actors’ names, but I did recognize many of those people.
I also watched the video that Youtube started right after: 21 TV Shows That Should Not have Existed, Yet Did. Of the shows, I remembered only two (The Flying Nun and The Gong Show).
