I like the holidays. There’s not many times I truly get to enjoy them bc I’m so busy doing all my craft shows. This year I have rsv (just found out today) and have to cancel everything bc of how contagious I am. So I’m really gonna go everything I can to enjoy them. I’m even signing up for a cookie crawl.
@Kyeh
It’s where they provide you
A map and you go around to different stores and collect a cookie from each place on the map. The city’s been doing it for years but I’ve always been too busy to attend.
@Kyeh@Star2236 In this neck of the woods, up in the White Mountains, they call it the cookie tour, where a bunch of inns decorate & give out treats. It looks like fun & it seems like they do a great job with everything, from what I’ve seen in the local news coverage.
Wonderful: I love giving gifts to family and friends, I love the decorations, and of course there are all the goodies I get to cram in my face.
Sad: I really miss home- all our family and friends are there, but here we are living in Colorado instead of Washington. I don’t have a single friend here; back home I have hundreds. But this is where we are for good.
Yes they are.
Revelatory. Gifts, people’s true selves, unusual foods…
For me, a time I dread.

@Star2236 Oh, I’ve never heard of that! Sounds fun.

This year, chaotic. Still not sure how we’re doing it this year, but we have our travel tickets booked.
