Spring? You gonna hang out with us?

Weird and stupid weather.
(70F, then 21F, then back to 60F then another hard freeze…)

Crazy storms all the time.

Fog. Torrential rain. 35mph wind. And how about more fog?
Who ordered the combo weather plate?

And I know it’s far more crazy further north.

I haven’t even seen any daffodils
(which normally appear here in Feb)
(Tho I didn’t go cruising for them)

But … Maybe …

We’ve had a week or so of spring, and now we’re getting an all day snowstorm. I left about an hour early for work, but apparently a lot of other people had the same idea. The road carnage is pretty much as expected.

Typical spring, in other words.

  You are in snow and ski country. I would think your spring would make the big splash in April?

- @f00l It’s highly variable. We’re at about 4500 feet, the ski resorts are at 6500-10,000 feet. So spring has started on the valley floor. But we will always get snow in March & April. And it’s not unheard of in May.

- A co-worker just dragged in, said they had a 2 hour commute instead of 30 minutes. So it’s got worse as the morning’s gone on. Can’t wait to hear what the highway patrol’s accident count for the day is.

It was such a beautiful day today. I feel that spring is in the air and I’m excited. This was a very cold, wet winter, and the arrival of DST always makes me happy. Watching the sun set at 7 pm makes me feel good.

It was almost 70F here last week, and this plant bloomed, but I didn’t get a picture. Here it is a little chilly:

Now the temperature ranges are back to the 30s - 40s Fahrenheit. The plant’ll probably survive.
