These are worth having at this price, despite the fact that the only real warranty you can count on is the 90 days from SideDeal. I have 4. They work pretty well as long as the car battery is not completely dead. (When it is, these will crank up the engine, but as soon as the alternator starts working, the booster will cut out, and the dead battery will cause enough electrical fubar to shut everything down again.)
@Kidsandliz Nothing that I can see except possibly that row of LEDs on the main body. That’s probably a power gauge. All things considered, I’m not sure it’s worth the extra five bucks. The other one has a digital readout for that anyway. Not that the digital readout is all that useful, honestly.
@werehatrack Does it have a boost button and did you try it with that on? Project Farm had a video on little jump starters and once you hit the button the ones tested would do even dead batteries. I use the Gooloo one on my tractor with boost and its the only way to crank it.
@kalma These will boost the dead battery without doing anything more than turning them on, but like nearly all lithium-battery boosters, they disconnect as soon as the engine’s alternator output kicks in. When that happens on a vehicle with an entirely dead battery, the usual result is that it immediately shuts down again. Booster packs with a lead-acid battery usually don’t do that. The rescue truck that AAA sends out usually will just have a good-sized sealed-lead-acid battery with cables attached, no fancy smart(-ass) misfeatures to keep the jump from working - and if the battery is so dead that running with the jumper connected for two minutes won’t keep it going, they have batteries in the truck that you can buy. (“Free” installation!)
@Kidsandliz@werehatrack I’m on my second GP4000. Both have been fantastic however if you leave one in a feed bucket and it rains and it sits in water for a couple days until you remember where you left it, then it might not work anymore. YMMV.
Tractor will not hold a charge, will deplete any battery. Most normal jumpers will not touch it. Boosted Gooloo is first time every time and usually I can push 2-3 times on one charge.

@werehatrack What is the difference between this one and what appears on morningsave

@kalma @werehatrack What Gooloo model?
