My cats (both stray and parasitic) love them. Most cats will prefer the liquid, I just add a little water till the little bastards either give up and consume it or we hit the 24h mark.
I actually get more mileage out of our wet cat food using the same tactic. Keeps them better hydrated and they seem to prefer the hour of extra work per day it forces me to do.
My elderly cat gobbled this up sauce and bits. Unfortunately it makes her poop the same consistency. So I mix it with her wet food and get a happy cat and firm poop
My cats like the liquid and happily lap it up but don’t care as much for the solid bits unfortunately.
I guess my cats are just soup connoisseurs.
