When this was listed on Meh last month, somebody reported that it tasted nasty unless you mixed it with Wally World’s house brand caffeinated orange drink mix. 120 packets of nasty somehow just usn’t very appealing. I had suspected that it would taste bad since elderberries are pretty vile to begin with.

I was one that bought it last month. My first reaction was that it had almost no flavor, then I realized it was just much milder than I expected. I didn’t think it was nasty, but was initially disappointed. (at least I didn’t find it like a typical “fruit punch” flavor, though I suppose others might)
Over time I’ve gotten to kinda like it, even though it doesn’t mix easily into cold liquids. (I haven’t bothered to try it in hot liquid, but I assume it’s easier.) Because I’m weird (and/or lazy), I’ve started just eating the powder directly, followed by drinks of water. It’s been good enough.
Ultimately, I taste the lemon powder more than any other flavor in it. As usual, YMMV.
Because of sinus issues, I like to start the day with a hot drink. But I’ve been drinking way too much caffeinated coffee and tea of late. I think I’ll try this as a replacement for hot tea.
