I voted ‘nah’ but now I think maybe it should. We just don’t have enough time before Xmas to buy all the useless junk we need. How are the people we love going to fill their garbage bins?
From where I sit, it has already faded into nonexistence. I started seeing online sellers with “Cyber Monday Specials” running over three weeks ago, and the same thing has been happening for at least three years now. Cyber Monday has gone the way of Black Friday; inflated past the point where the envelope shredded, and yet there are still places where they’re acting like it’s still A Special Thing.
It was a thing when no one had good internet at home. Once that happened, Cyber Monday fizzled. They’re beating a dead horse to keep hyping it.
