Iâve bought a few things from Pacific Pearls. Not fine jewelry but not bad either. Never had any problems but donât expect this to look like a $500 necklace.
P.P. donât really expect you to pay the $120 web price either, they expect you to use a 50% off coupon or one of their frequent sales. Theyâre a bit like an online Kohlâs where their regular price is hyper inflated so they can seÄșl to you at what looks like a big discount but is what they intended to charge all along.
All that said. Theyâre not a bad company for inexpensive jewelry. Just donât expect it to be as good as jewelry 10 times the price.
@mtb002 I donât know. The white gold one with the hearts isnât bad. The yellow gold might not be bad if you like yellow gold (personally I donât). Rose gold one is ugly⊠But rose gold is always ugly.
I wouldnât give this to my wife, but I got my tween girls each one. I think they will be thrilled with âreal jewelryâ and these styles would appeals to that demographic.
Are lab created diamonds chemically real diamonds from Russian presses, or are they just Cubic Zirconia or Swarovski Crystal like material? Gold filled means they are solid 18k gold, right? Asking for a friendâŠ
@smerk85 gold filled has a layer of gold thicker than electroplated, but thereâs another metal on the inside. You should be more worried that these are seriously unfashionable.
@jakeline@smerk85 Unfashionable? hows that? its in the eyes of the beholder I think all three items are outstanding but opinions are a dime for a dozen and the only one that counts is your own .!!
@smerk85 lab created diamonds are chemically identical (or should be) to âreal diamondsâ, the difference being that one is natural and the other is created by hearing and putting pressure on a carbon structure. Cubic zirconia looks similar but is not chemically identical to a diamond.
COMMON MAN whats with all the hating its an outstanding product at a really awesome price ⊠nothing more or less great stocking stuffer. If meh was selling gold at 1 dollar a gram most would say its too yellow give it a break with the negative stuff its the holidayâs relax and give .
@sohmageek yes too soon. I just read the quip comments. And it was too late to delete comment. I do feel real bad for you guys. Itâs not like you knew it was stolen. Iâm super sorry and even more so for the joke above⊠maybe someone has a sick sense of humor. (Maybe thatâs why we got pearls today)
I bought some stuff from these guys last year- yeah- not worth what they say- not worth what I paid. I donât think my sweetie has ever worn them. Apparently if one is wise about pearls- these are obviously of poor quality. [ objection! hearsay!] OK, you got me. They might be fine for your teenage daughter.
@dhelmick56 Nail struck directly! My teenage daughter buys most of her âjewelryâ at Hot Topic, so this is a huge step up for her! That being said, itâs not something my wife would ever wear.

No, no, no.
I wonder what pearls of wisdom will be snarkily given by mehricans between now and when this thread enters itâs golden hoursâŠ
Geez. On the day of the Quip fiasco, Iâm supposed to believe THESE didnât fall off the back of a truck? Come on gang
@billyok theyâve sold jewelry from this company several times before.
Iâve seen exactly one issue where they had to cancel because of stolen merch. The quip deal.
@RiotDemon âŠit was a joke.
@billyok kind of hard to tell with the tough crowd we have around here.
@billyok I assumed everything they sell here fell off the back of a truck.
Understated or overstated - youâre still getting a pearl necklace.
@mehcuda67 THERE IT IS! I am shocked I had to scroll this far down to find the first pearl necklace joke.
Why does anybody put any stock into what these are âvaluedâ at? They will never change hands at even a fraction of that.
@xterraguy They are valued at exactly $20.
Iâm not bursting anyoneâs bubble by pointing out how unappealing these are am I? Surely not.

That word play, it hurts. More than usual.

If only you could brush the pearly whites. That was my quick quip⊠too soon?

@dhelmick56 I was thinking of my granddaughters.I am hoping maybe they will stay out of my jewelry.
Whereâs the oyster?
well if your going to sell out before i get home from work⊠then⊠HmmmmâŠ
Never posted on this yesterday, how about pearl filled pop sockets
You folks are professionals at slow shipping your crap at Christmas. Bought December 5th and item is still in the post office abyss. Shameful.
