I got the S450-SR from a previous deal. Overall I like it, it seems to do as good of a job as my sonic Panasonic did.
My only two annoyances with it are the button and the modes. The button blends in too much with the surrounding area, so if you slide your finger off while brushing, it can be tricky to find it again. The other thing I don’t like are the modes. Primarily that you can’t set a mode and just turn the brush on/off with different buttons (like my Panasonic did). Instead, you have to find the button, tap a few times to cycle through all of the modes and then turn it off. Unless you click too fast and start all over again.
Still…rather minor annoyances and the brushing part works well. Would buy again
I’ve had two of these fail on me. After a couple months they just stopped turning on.
Philips Sonicare Essence is $20 on amazon, albeit with only one head. Thing is the Pursonics never lasted me long enough to use more than two of the heads.
@PantHeist Don’t keep it plugged in. It has a CdS battery and they do not respond well to frequent partial charges, they need to be run down almost flat and recharged. I’ve been using one of these for a year now.
