I got one of these last year and I’ve been pretty impressed with it. Over the past few months, I’ve had the unfortunate predicament of having to sleep in a room that is right next to a room that is being remodeled. As you can imagine, that creates an absolutely enormous amount of fine dust that goes everywhere and gets on everything. Thanks to this little thing, the bedroom, and my lungs, stayed absolutely spotless. I would go from gagging in the hallway to breathing normally when I entered the bedroom where this was installed. It worked great. Would recommend.
@etingel Can you offer any feedback on how it does with odors? I, unfortunately, have superhuman ability to smell things. Our dogs are kennel trained and some nights their gas has me gagging. We also own several rats and the day after we’ve cleaned the cage I can smell urine. I’m wondering how well it does. Also how often did you have to change the filter? Thanks!

Very easy to assemble! So far I give this a 5 on quality. I love how quiet it is, much quieter in comparison to my sharp air purifier. I’m also a fan of the sleep option, hours for turn off and when plugged back in remembers my last settings. Happy with my purchase
@eos113 , this will not be very effective for removing solvent vapors, this removes particles. you need sorbent filtration, like activated charoal to remove vapors or gasses.
@ELJAY@eos113 It appears to have an activated charcoal filter. It lists a few solvents that it will filter. BUT I sure wouldn’t rely on this if I was working with solvents putting out lots of fumes.
@eos113@Lighter - The activated charcoal this filter does have is in a thin layer, and will be ineffective. BTW, the product literature says that the charcoal “absorbs” the noxious contaminants. That is wrong. Activated charcoal ADSORBS contaminants, and you need a layer of it at least 3/4 inch deep to effectively remove airborne vapors or gasses…

If I’m seriously admonished for coming home from Vietnam with two gunshots, near death, PTSD & damned Agent Orange Exposure, then shortly after returning I stoled/borrowed 3-4 books from a Library Return Bin for 2-3 days & costing the book w/d person a whopping & approximately $00.35 to 55 pennies THEN You need a good Cursing out as I received for such a Terrible Crime!! They always try to tell us what they mean in the detailed description.They said something like those model #s, or whatever they are happen to stand for Pierre Plug, and yada, yada, yada & something about a French Bulldog. As i said, to correct them about nothing, or a trivial matter reminded me of how some guy all but cursed me out, and insulted me plenty for something that was extremely trivial after what i had gone through in a damned war, so I guess, unless you know the whole story it could probably be considered similar to an inside joke. So, my house is very dusty. 170 year old farm, dogs, no central heat and air. Would this thing have a cleanable filter for dust? Because I’m sure those expensive HEPA things would clog up in no time.

5/5- We originally purchased two of these to help with odors in the house we moved in to and they effectively removed unwanted odors. Long-term, we keep one upstairs and one downstairs and they still help with air quality. We are pleased with them- they are small, effective, and quiet.

4/5, It’s very effective in my dusty old apartment with two dogs, but can be a bit loud, especially for a bedroom even in night mode.

We are really enjoying our air filter, I would rate it 5/5, it is quiet, small, effective, and I love that the lights turn off in night mode.
