Poll: Do you lie when answering polls?

I always lie on every poll, including this one.

I never answer polls.

Sometimes. But I may be lying now.

I feel all polls should be answered in this fashion.

The only time I’ll usually bodge an answer is when none of the available ones describe my case.

Totally depends on the poll.

If it is a well-crafted poll that appears to have legit objectives… truthful responses.

However, if it is a hack poll, written in a way to steer the responses in a biased manner… definitely the responses will very intentionally be counter to the desired outcome of the pollsters.

I try to throw off the race/gender/household income metrics in political polls.

Never… unless it serves a humorous line.

I like to think I help keep the polls within the margin of error
